After two weeks of play, several of the preseason favorites remain front and center in the NFL playoff picture.
However, other expected contenders haven’t quite looked the part thus far. NFL playoff odds have shifted and will continue to do so with each passing week.
As we get set for NFL Week 3 games, here’s what the seeds and matchups would look like if the postseason started today using the current playoff odds as a guide.

The Jets moved to 1-1 with a road win over the Titans. They’ll be in the Thursday Night Football spotlight this week versus the Patriots, who also are 1-1.
The Ravens get the nod over the 0-2 Bengals as they hold a slight edge in AFC North division winner odds. Cincinnati has dropped two close decisions to the Patriots and Chiefs.
The Chargers have opened the Jim Harbaugh era with a 2-0 record. They’re on the road this week to face the team right behind them in playoff odds, the 2-0 Steelers.
The winner of that AFC vs. AFC tilt could rise even further than seventh in the odds, depending on the rest of the week’s results. The Browns and Raiders have risen slightly following victories, with the Dolphins, Jaguars, and Colts dropping after defeats.

The 49ers remain atop the NFC odds board despite dropping to 1-1 with an upset loss to the Vikings. The Eagles and Lions also lost last week to fall to 1-1, while the surging Saints improved to 2-0.

New Orleans had its way with the Cowboys in a 44-19 victory. Dallas will try to rebound at home versus the Ravens on Sunday.
The Buccaneers are 2-0 following an upset win over the Lions. The Seahawks and Falcons are tied in betting odds, but Seattle gets the edge with a record of 2-0.
The 1-1 Falcons took down the Eagles last week. They’ll be at home for a Sunday Night Football date with the Chiefs.
The featured NFC vs. NFC matchup of the week will see the Eagles travel to face the Saints. A New Orleans win could push the Saints further up the charts, while Philadelphia could be first or second on the board with a victory depending on the rest of the week’s results.
The Vikings and Packers are among this week’s risers, while the Rams were a big tumbler following a decisive loss to the Cardinals. The Lions are still tops with 42.3% of betting handle at BetMGM to win the NFC.
Projected Super Bowl 59 matchups for Week 3
