As we get set for NFL Week 3, the early season playoff picture continues to come into focus. Preseason favorites, including the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, remain in fantastic shape as far as the odds are concerned. On this page, we break down the current NFL playoff odds and take a look at what the seeds and matchups would look like if the playoffs started today using the current odds as a guide.

The Chiefs entered the season as the top favorite on the AFC side of the bracket, and that’s still the case after the club’s 1-1 start. The Dolphins and Ravens have climbed up the charts after 2-0 starts, while odds for the Bills and Jaguars have fluctuated in response to both opening at 1-1. Here’s how the AFC seeds line up based on the current betting odds:

The Dolphins have taken the lead over the Bills in AFC East division odds. Over in the AFC North, the Browns took a blow this week as Nick Chubb went down to a season-ending injury during a loss to the Steelers. The Bengals are off to a 0-2 start, and there are concerns that Joe Burrow’s calf injury will continue to be an issue.

Behind the top seven, the Titans, Steelers, and Chargers are next in line and could rise or fall based on what happens this week. Tennessee and Pittsburgh are 1-1, while Los Angeles has opened at 0-2. It’s still early, but the Chargers have a road date with the 0-2 Vikings on Sunday, a game that has a “must-win” feel for both sides.

As far as the betting odds are concerned, there are three clear favorites on the NFC side: 49ers, Cowboys, and Eagles. All three are off to 2-0 starts. San Francisco and Dallas have looked every bit the part of a serious contender, while Philadelphia has had to dig for its two victories. Here’s what the NFC matchups would look like based on the latest betting lines:

The Eagles continue to hold a lead over the Cowboys in NFC East betting odds, but the lines have tightened since the start of the season. Four of the top seven teams will be squaring off on Sunday in games that could alter the picture once the results are in the books: the Saints travel to take on the Packers, while the Falcons are at the Lions.

Further down the charts, odds for the Buccaneers and Commanders have risen in the wake of 2-0 starts. The Vikings were NFC North champs a season ago with a record of 13-4, but are now looking for their first win of the campaign. The Giants were a wild-card team last season, but a 1-1 start and an injury to Saquon Barkley have clouded the forecast.

Projected Super Bowl 58 matchups for Week 3

Betting odds on the winner of Super Bowl 58 have also continued to shift in response to the early season results. Four teams have emerged as the top favorites: the Chiefs, 49ers, Eagles, and Cowboys. The Bills, Ravens, and Dolphins are battling to be the second choice on the AFC side of the bracket.

The seven teams are the only clubs with odds of less than +2000 to win the next big game at most top online sportsbooks. Based on the latest lines, potential Super Bowl 58 matchups include the following:

For this week, the Chiefs, 49ers, Cowboys, Ravens, and Dolphins are all sizable favorites to win their respective games. The Eagles and Bills are also favored, but both will be on the road this week against 2-0 teams: Philadelphia faces the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football, while Buffalo travels to take on the Commanders on Sunday.
