Thursday Night Football Week 1

The NFL always schedules a compelling matchup for the opening game of the season, and this one certainly fits the bill.

The Lions took some big steps forward in year two of the Dan Campbell era. The club just missed out on the playoffs, and it enters this season as the betting favorite to win the NFC North. The defending champion Chiefs are the current favorite to win it all. The team begins its quest for a third title in five seasons at home in what should be a raucous atmosphere.

NBC handles broadcasting duties for opening week and Thanksgiving night. Amazon Prime is the exclusive home for the rest of the TNF slate. In Week 2, it’s a meeting of two NFC playoff teams from last season, as the Vikings are at the Eagles. The following games round out the first four TNF games of the season and the best NFL primetime odds available.

Looking ahead, there appear to be a number of great matchups to look forward to for this season of TNF, including Jaguars at Saints in Week 7, Bengals at Ravens in Week 11 and Seahawks at Cowboys in Week 13.

Sunday Night Football Week 1

It’s an NFC East rivalry game for the SNF opener, as well as a meeting of two playoff squads from a season ago.

The Cowboys and Giants snagged wild card berths last season. Both clubs had their seasons come to an end on the road in the divisional round, with Dallas losing to the 49ers and New York falling to the Eagles. While it’s only Week 1, this primetime battle could help set the tone for what’s expected to be a competitive division chase.

For the past several seasons, SNF has held the unofficial mantle of being the “game of the week” for the NFL. As the season moves along, the flex policy helps ensure that a top matchup is set for this time slot.  Looking ahead to Week 2, the Dolphins will hit the road to take on the division-rival Patriots. Here are the following games that round out the first four weeks of the season:

Later in the season, top highlights include the Chiefs at Jets in Week 4 and an NFC East showdown for the Eagles and Cowboys in Week 14.

NFL Primetime Odds: Monday Night Football Week 1

The schedule closes out with a bang as a pair of AFC East rivals — and potential Super Bowl contenders — do battle under the bright MNF lights. More NFL primetime odds are available in the next section.

Buffalo came up short in its Super Bowl quest last season with a home loss to the Bengals in the divisional round. The team once again enters the campaign as one of the top favorites in Super Bowl futures. New York was in the headlines throughout the offseason. Many observers are expecting the team to contend following the trade for Aaron Rodgers.

Monday Night Football schedule 2023-24

The NFL has made some notable changes to MNF for the coming season. There are three doubleheaders on the schedule. The first takes place in Week 2: the Saints are at the Panthers at 7:15 p.m. ET on ABC, and the Browns will be at the Steelers at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN. In Week 3, another doubleheader features the Eagles at Buccaneers and the Rams at Bengals.

For the first time ever, flex scheduling will be an option, beginning with Week 13 in December. Throughout the season, there appear to be a number of great matchups on deck, including a Super Bowl rematch in Week 11 as the Eagles travel to face the Chiefs
