Los Angeles has added Kyren Williams to the IR and doesn’t expect him back until Week 12. The Rams released K Brett Maher after three missed kicks on Sunday. Tryouts for his replacement are taking place this week.
The Dallas Cowboys had a bye in Week 7 after a Monday night win over the Chargers to improve to 4-2. Defensive back C.J. Goodwin, LB Leighton Vander Esch, CB Trevon Diggs, and TE Peyton Hendershot are all on injured reserve. The team expects T Matt Waletzko to return from the IR in time for Week 8.
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

The Minnesota Vikings picked up an upset victory at home over the 49ers on Monday night, 22-17. Kirk Cousins threw for 378 yards with two TDs and one INT, and WR Jordan Addison hauled in seven catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns. TE T.J. Hockenson briefly left the game with a foot injury but returned and finished with 11 catches for 86 yards. G Ezra Cleveland and CB NaJee Thompson are both inactive for Week 8.
The Green Bay Packers are 2-4 after suffering a 19-17 road loss against the Broncos on Sunday. Jordan Love threw for 180 yards with two TDs and one INT. AJ Dillon ran for 61 yards on 15 carries. Aaron Jones saw limited action at running back in his return from injury. CB Eric Stokes left the game with a hamstring injury and did not return. Rookie TE Luke Musgrave also left hurt.
Atlanta Falcons at Tennessee Titans

The Atlanta Falcons improved to 4-3 on the season with a 16-13 win over the Buccaneers last week on the road. Desmond Ridder threw for 250 yards and ran for one touchdown. Bijan Robinson left the game after only one carry and was reportedly dealing with an illness. Tyler Allgeier got the majority of the work in his place, rushing for 59 yards on 21 carries. Robinson is questionable for Week 8.
The Tennessee Titans were on a bye this past week. The team is 2-4 after suffering back-to-back losses to the Ravens and Colts, and it’s currently last in the AFC South. QB Ryan Tannehill left the last game with an ankle injury and has since been seen with a cast on his lower leg. Backup QB Malik Willis threw for 74 yards on five attempts in relief. It could be Willis or Rookie QB Will Levis getting the start this week with Tannehill not expected to play, but both could see some time under center.
New Orleans Saints at Indianapolis Colts

The New Orleans Saints have a record of 3-4 following a 31-24 home loss against the Jaguars on Thursday night. Derek Carr threw for 301 yards with one TD and one INT. RB Jamaal Williams returned to the lineup but finished with just five carries for 14 yards. The Saints had seven players inactive for the game, including T Ryan Ramczyk, who is in the league’s concussion protocol. DE Payton Turner is expected to return from the IR this week.
The Indianapolis Colts slipped to 3-4 with a 39-38 loss at home against the Browns on Sunday. Gardner Minshew threw for 305 yards and two TDs with one INT. RB Jonathan Taylor ran for 75 yards and one touchdown, but the Colts committed four turnovers in the loss. CB JuJu Brents left the game with a quadriceps issue and did not return. Brents is questionable for Week 8.
New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins

The New England Patriots pulled off a home upset last week, beating the Bills 29-25 to improve to 2-5 on the season. Mac Jones had his best performance of the campaign, throwing for 272 yards with two TDs. WR Juju Smith-Schuster was inactive with a concussion, but he could return for Week 8. T Vedarian Lowe came on to spell left tackle Trent Brown but left the game with an ankle injury and is questionable.
The Miami Dolphins dropped to 5-2 with a 31-17 road loss to the Eagles on Sunday night. Tua Tagovailoa threw for 216 yards with one TD and one INT as the usually explosive Miami offense struggled against the Philadelphia defense. WR Jaylen Waddle briefly left the game with a back issue but returned. He continued to receive treatment throughout the game, but his status for this week is unclear. LB David Long received evaluation for a concussion and is questionable.
New York Jets at New York Giants

The New York Jets are coming off a bye week. Prior to that, the squad pulled off a major upset with a 20-14 home win over the previously undefeated Eagles. That win made it two in a row for the Jets, who are now 3-3 on the season. New York is dealing with some injuries in the defensive backfield, including cornerbacks Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed, both with concussions.
The New York Giants moved to 2-5 on the season with a 14-7 win over the Commanders at home on Sunday. Tyrod Taylor threw for 279 yards and two TDs while starting in place of Daniel Jones, who’s still dealing with a neck injury. RB Saquon Barkley ran for 77 yards and added another 41 yards receiving with one catch and run for a touchdown. T Andrew Thomas is expected to return for this game. Jones could potentially return under center this week, but it’s not yet clear which quarterback will start.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Jacksonville Jaguars have a record of 5-2 following a Thursday night win over the Saints on the road, 31-24. Trevor Lawrence threw for 204 yards with one TD, and Travis Etienne Jr. ran for two touchdowns and 53 yards on 14 carries. WR Zay Jones was inactive last week with a knee injury, and his status this week is unclear. S Andre Cisco is questionable for Week 8.
The Pittsburgh Steelers picked up a 24-17 road win over the Rams on Sunday, improving to 4-2. Kenny Pickett threw for 230 yards, and Najee Harris ran for one TD. T.J. The Philadelphia Eagles improved to 6-1 this season with a home win over the Dolphins on Sunday night. Jalen Hurts threw for 279 yards and two TDs with one INT, and had another TD on the ground, but he finished the game with a brace on his knee while insisting the knee felt fine. A.J. Brown caught 10 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown, as the Eagles bounced back from an upset loss to the Jets. CB Avonte Maddox is expected to return from the IR in time for Week 8. S Reed Blankenship, who was inactive for last week’s loss, could also be back. As of now, Hurts isn’t expected to miss any time with the knee.
The Washington Commanders slipped to 3-4 with a 14-7 loss to the Giants on the road on Sunday. Sam Howell threw for 249 yards and one INT. RB Brian Robinson Jr. ran in the team’s lone touchdown. LB Cody Barton had to leave with an ankle injury and was in a walking boot later. His status for Week 8 isn’t yet clear. G Saahdiq Charles also left the game with an injury. Washington struggled with pass protection and surrendered six sacks in the loss.
Houston Texans at Carolina Panthers

The Houston Texans had a bye in Week 7. Before that, the team beat the Saints 20-13 at home to move to 3-3. Rookie signal caller CJ Stroud is the current betting favorite to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. SS Eric Murray is on the injured reserve list and likely not back for several more weeks. WR Tank Dell is dealing with a concussion and is questionable for this week’s game.
The Carolina Panthers are also coming off a bye. The team is winless in six games under new head coach Frank Reich, and remains the only NFL squad without a victory this season. Rookie QB Bryce Young has struggled thus far. Safety Jeremy Chinn is out for Week 8 with a quadriceps injury.
Cleveland Browns at Seattle Seahawks

The Cleveland Browns picked up a 39-38 road win over the Colts on Sunday to improve to 4-2. Deshaun Watson started at quarterback but had to leave due to the shoulder injury that had him on the questionable list all week. Phillip Walker stepped in and threw for 178 yards and was picked off once. RB Kareem Hunt ran for two touchdowns, while Jerome Ford ran for one with 78 yards rushing. It’s still unclear whether Watson will start in Week 8.
The Seattle Seahawks improved to 4-2 with a 20-10 home win over the Cardinals on Sunday. Geno Smith threw for 219 yards and two TDs with one INT, while Kenneth Walker III ran for 105 yards on 26 carries. WR DK Metcalf sat out Sunday’s game with a rib injury after being pulled following pregame warmups. His status for Week 8 isn’t yet clear. Edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu left Sunday’s game with an injury. He’s set to undergo season-ending pectoral surgery.
Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos

The Kansas City Chiefs improved to 6-1 on the season with a 31-17 win over the Chargers at home on Sunday. Patrick Mahomes threw for 424 yards with four TDs and one INT. Travis Kelce had another big day, hauling in 12 passes for 179 yards and one touchdown. LB Nick Bolton left in the second half with an apparent wrist injury and has been ruled out for this game. WR Justin Watson is questionable with an elbow injury.
The Denver Broncos picked up a 19-17 win at home over the Packers on Sunday to move to 2-5 on the season. Russell Wilson threw for 194 yards with one TD, and the Broncos didn’t turn the ball over once. RB Javonte Williams ran for 82 yards on 15 carries. TE Greg Dulcich is back on the IR and isn’t expected to return until Week 12.
Baltimore Ravens at Arizona Cardinals

Mark Andrews had four catches for 63 yards and two touchdowns. RB Keaton Mitchell left with a hamstring injury, and his status for Week 8 isn’t yet known.
The Arizona Cardinals fell to 1-6 this season with a 20-10 loss on the road against the Seahawks on Sunday. Joshua Dobbs completed 19 of 33 pass attempts for 146 yards and also ran for 46 yards and a touchdown. S Budda Baker was back in the lineup after the team activated him from injured reserve in time for Sunday’s game. LB Krys Barnes left the game with a hamstring injury. His status for Week 8 is unclear. QB Kyler Murray has returned from injury and begun taking his first snaps of the season in practice, but it’s unclear when he’ll be ready to start.

The Cincinnati Bengals had a bye in Week 7. Prior to that, the team pulled off consecutive wins for the first time this season, improving to 3-3 with victories over the Cardinals and Seahawks. Joe Burrow struggled with a calf injury early in the season but has thrown for five TDs with two INTs over the past two games. T Orlando Brown is questionable this week, as are linebackers Akeem Davis-Gaither and Devin Harper.
The San Francisco 49ers suffered a second straight defeat in an upset loss on the road against the Vikings on Monday night, falling to 5-2 after winning their first five games of the season. Brock Purdy was intercepted twice and the team committed three total turnovers. RB Christian McCaffrey saw his work rate and output somewhat diminished while playing with an oblique injury, but he still ran the ball 15 times for 45 yards and had one TD on the ground and another through the air. WR Deebo Samuel missed Monday’s game with a shoulder injury and is expected to miss Week 8, as well.
Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Chargers

The Chicago Bears picked up their second win of the season with a 30-12 upset at home over the Raiders on Sunday. Rookie QB Tyson Bagent threw for 162 yards and one TD while starting in place of the injured Justin Fields. RB D’Onta Foreman added two touchdowns and 89 yards rushing. Fields is expected to miss multiple weeks with a thumb injury, but the team is reportedly not planning to place him on injured reserve at this time.
The Los Angeles Chargers fell to 2-4 with a 31-17 road loss to the Chiefs on Sunday. Justin Herbert was picked off twice while throwing for 259 yards and one TD. RB Austin Ekeler saw the bulk of the work at running back in his second game back from injury but was limited to 45 yards on 14 carries. TE Gerald Everett left with a quadriceps injury and is questionable for Week 8.
Las Vegas Raiders at Detroit Lions

The Las Vegas Raiders fell to 3-4 with a road loss against the Bears on Sunday, 30-12. Brian Hoyer struggled at quarterback while starting in place of the injured Jimmy Garoppolo, throwing for 129 yards and two picks. Aidan O’Connell came on in relief and threw for 75 yards with one TD and one INT late in the game. Garoppolo is expected to return from his back injury in time to start in Week 8.
The Detroit Lions slipped to 5-2 on the road with a 38-6 loss to the Ravens on Sunday. Jared Goff threw for 284 yards and one INT while being sacked five times. With David Montgomery inactive due to a rib injury, RB Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries. RB Mohamed Ibrahim was carted off the field with a hip injury and went directly into surgery. S Kerby Joseph left the game after being credited with 10 tackles and is expected to be evaluated for a concussion. His status for Week 8 isn’t yet clear.
