The Panthers outgained the Colts on offense but were also penalized 10 times for 82 yards. LB Brian Burns, CB C.J. Henderson, WR Laviska Schenault, and TE Stephen Sullivan are all out.
The Chicago Bears fell to 2-7 on Sunday with a road loss against the Saints, 24-17. Tyson Bagent threw for 220 yards with two TDs but was also picked off three times in the loss. Justin Fields is still dealing with an injured thumb after returning to practice as a limited participant, but is listed as doubtful for this game.

The New England Patriots slipped to 2-7 on the season with a 20-17 home loss against the Commanders on Sunday. Mac Jones had another bad outing, completing 24 passes on 44 attempts for 220 yards with one touchdown and an interception in the final minute to end any comeback hopes. RB Rhamondre Stevenson broke free for a 64-yard TD run, which accounted for more than half of the team’s rushing yards on the day. WR DeVante Parker sat out the game with a concussion, and his status is not yet clear for this week. DB J.C. Jackson is questionable with an undisclosed injury.
The Indianapolis Colts improved to 4-5 with a road win over the Panthers on Sunday, 27-13. Gardner Minshew finished with 127 yards passing and one TD, and the Colts’ defense recorded three interceptions. DB Tony Brown suffered a concussion in the game and is questionable for this game. WR Josh Downs, TE Andrew Ogletree, OT Braden Smith, and LB Zaire Franklin are also questionable.
Houston Texans at Cincinnati Bengals

The Houston Texans are back to .500 after winning an offensive shootout at home against the Buccaneers on Sunday, 39-37. C.J. Stroud set a rookie passing record with a breakout game, throwing for 470 yards and five TDs, including the game-winner in the final seconds. WR John Metchie left the game with a rib injury and is questionable for Week 10. DT Hassan Ridgeway left with an ankle issue and is also questionable for this week. K Kaimi Fairbairn is doubtful for this week. RB Dare Ogunbowale was forced into emergency duty last week and drilled a field goal.
The Cincinnati Bengals got their fourth win in a row on Sunday night, beating the Bills 24-18 at home to improve to 5-3 on the season. Joe Burrow threw for 348 yards with two TDs, while Tee Higgins caught eight passes for 110 yards. LB Akeem Davis-Gaither returned to action after missing the last four games due to injury. On the early injury front, WR Ja’marr Chase is questionable with a back injury, while DT Josh Tupou is also questionable with a shoulder injury.
New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings

The New Orleans Saints picked up a 24-17 win over the Bears at home on Sunday, bringing the team’s record to 5-4. Derek Carr threw for 211 yards with two TDs, while RB Taysom Hill ran for one touchdown and threw for another. RB Kendre Miller left the game with an ankle injury and is questionable for Week 10. LB Ty Summers is also questionable with a concussion.
The Minnesota Vikings improved to 5-4 thanks to a 31-28 road win against the Falcons on Sunday. Newly acquired QB Joshua Dobbs threw for 158 yards and two TDs after coming on in the first half after Jaren Hall left the game with a concussion. Hall is questionable for this week but would have to clear concussion protocol in order to play. RB Cam Akers left the game with an Achilles tendon injury and was placed on injured reserve this week. WR K.J. Osborn is questionable with a concussion. The team has opened a 21-day practice window for WR Justin Jefferson to return from IR.
Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Green Bay Packers are 3-5 on the season following a 20-3 home victory over the Rams on Sunday. Jordan Love threw for 228 yards with one TD as the Packers snapped a four-game losing streak and got their first win since September. WR Christian Watson left late in the game with an upper-body injury and is questionable for this week. FS Rudy Ford and LB Quay Walker are also carrying questionable tags.
The Pittsburgh Steelers improved to 5-3 with a Thursday night win at home over the Titans, 20-16. Kenny Pickett played despite leaving the prior week’s game with a rib injury and threw for 160 yards with one touchdown in the victory. Najee Harris got the bulk of the work out of the backfield, running for 69 yards with one TD on 16 carries. LB Cole Holcomb suffered a knee injury in the game and has been placed on IR. FS Minkah Fitzpatrick is questionable with a hamstring injury.
Tennessee Titans at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tennessee Titans fell to 3-5 with a 20-16 road loss against the Steelers on Thursday night. Rookie QB Will Levis threw for 262 yards with one INT in his second NFL start. The team has announced that Levis will remain the starter the rest of the way. QB Ryan Tannehill continues to recover from his ankle injury and is considered questionable. WR Treylon Burks is questionable this week with a concussion. CB Sean Murphy-Bunting is doubtful with a thumb injury.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers dropped a 39-37 decision on the road against the Texans on Sunday, putting the team at 3-5 on the season. Baker Mayfield threw for 265 yards with two TDs, and Rachaad White ran for two touchdowns and 73 yards on 20 carries. But the defense gave up nearly 500 yards in total offense, as well as surrendering 29 points in the second half. DB Jamel Dean left the game with a concussion and is questionable for this week.
San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars

The San Francisco 49ers are coming off a bye week. The team lost three straight headed into that break, dropping its record to 5-3 on the season after an unbeaten start through the first five weeks. WR Deebo Samuel has missed the last two games with a shoulder injury and is questionable for Sunday’s game. OG Aaron Brooks is questionable with a toe injury.
The Jacksonville Jaguars were also on a bye this past week. The Jaguars have won five straight to move to 6-2 on the season, giving them a big lead atop the AFC South. WR Zay Jones is still dealing with a knee injury and is questionable for this game, as are CB Tyson Campbell and OG Ezra Campbell.
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens

The Cleveland Browns are 5-3 following a 27-0 win over the Cardinals on Sunday. Deshaun Watson threw for 219 yards and two touchdowns in his return from a shoulder injury. The Cleveland defense got the team its first shutout since 2007, and the unit is now the best in the league in total yards allowed per game. T Jedrick Wills Jr. left with a leg injury and is questionable. WR Marquise Goodwin suffered a concussion and is also questionable this week, as are RB Pierre Strong and TE David Njoku.
The Baltimore Ravens improved to 7-2 with a 37-3 blowout win over the Seahawks at home on Sunday. Lamar Jackson threw for 187 yards and ran for 60 more. The Baltimore running game accounted for three touchdowns and 298 yards, including 138 rushing yards and one TD from rookie RB Keaton Mitchell, who had zero NFL carries coming into this game. The Ravens’ defense limited Seattle to 151 total yards on offense. T Morgan Moses missed the game with a shoulder injury, and his status for Week 10 isn’t yet clear. OT Morgan Moses, CB Rock Ya-Sin, and FS Marcus Williams are questionable.
Atlanta Falcons at Arizona Cardinals

The Atlanta Falcons lost by a score of 31-28 against the Vikings at home on Sunday, falling to 4-5 on the season. Taylor Heinecke threw for 268 yards with one TD and one INT while starting in place of Desmond Ridder. Bijan Robinson ran for 51 yards on 11 carries but also lost a costly fumble in the second half. CB Dee Alford left the game with an ankle injury and is questionable this week. RB Cordarrelle Patterson had only one carry in the game before leaving with an ankle injury. WR Drake London, DB DeMarcco Hellams, and FB Keith Smith are questionable.
The Arizona Cardinals were blanked 27-0 on the road against the Browns on Sunday, dropping to 1-8 on the season with a sixth straight loss. Arizona started rookie QB Clayton Tune after trading Joshua Dobbs to Minnesota. Tune finished with just 58 passing yards and two interceptions after completing 11 passes on 20 attempts. The team chose not to activate Kyler Murray, who’s been on the IR all season, but he could be back in the starting QB role this week. RB James Conner has been designated to return from IR.
Detroit Lions at Los Angeles Chargers

The Detroit Lions were on a bye this past week. The team is 6-2 and leading the NFC North after beginning the season as the top favorite to win the division. RB David Montgomery has been dealing with a rib issue and is questionable for Week 10. C Frank Ragnow and OG Jonah Jackson are listed as questionable.
The Los Angeles Chargers are coming off a 27-6 win over the Jets on Monday night, improving the team’s record to 4-4. Justin Herbert threw for 136 yards while becoming the fastest in NFL history to reach 1,500 completions. Austin Ekeler ran for two TDs in the victory, and the defense logged five sacks and three turnovers. WR Justin Palmer is on the IR until at least Week 13. Rookie wideout Quentin Johnston hasn’t seen many passes yet after stepping into the second wideout spot.
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

The New York Giants suffered still more injury woes at quarterback in a 30-6 road loss to the Raiders on Sunday, falling to 2-7 in the process. Daniel Jones went down with a knee injury in his first game back from neck issues. Jones seemed to suffer the initial injury on one of eight sacks allowed by New York in the game. Tommy DeVito came on in relief and threw for 175 yards with one TD and two INTs. With backup QB Tyrod Taylor on IR, DeVito was the only QB available for the Giants. Jones is done for the season, pushing DeVito into the QB1 role. TE Darren Waller, the team’s leading receiver, is also on injured reserve.
The Dallas Cowboys lost a 28-23 nailbiter on the road against the Eagles on Sunday, falling to 5-3 on the season. Dak Prescott threw for three touchdowns and 375 yards, but Dallas came up just short in a last-second drive. WR CeeDee Lamb had a big day, catching 11 passes for 193 yards. The Cowboys are undefeated in three games at home so far this season but have struggled on the road.
Washington Commanders at Seattle Seahawks

The Washington Commanders picked up a 20-17 road win over the Patriots on Sunday to move to 4-5 on the season. Sam Howell threw for 325 yards with one TD and one INT, giving the QB his first consecutive games with 300 yards or more through the air. RB Brian Robinson saw an expanded role, getting 18 carries for 63 yards and one touchdown. WR Curtis Samuel missed the game with a toe injury and is questionable this week.
The Seattle Seahawks fell to 5-3 on Sunday after a lopsided road loss to the Ravens, 37-3. Geno Smith was intercepted once and finished with 157 passing yards. Seattle had just 28 rushing yards in the game and gave up four sacks while converting on just one third down on 12 attempts. RB DeeJay Dallas left the game with a shoulder injury and is questionable for Week 10. LB Derick Hall and OG Anthony Bradford are also questionable.
New York Jets at Las Vegas Raiders

The New York Jets fell to 4-4 with a home loss to the Chargers on Monday night, 27-6. The offense struggled to get anything going while giving up five sacks and three turnovers. Zach Wilson completed 33 of 49 passes for 263 yards but couldn’t find the end zone. WR Allen Lazard suited up after some doubts as to his status but caught two of six passes and was flagged for two penalties. LB Chazz Surratt and OT Billy Turner are questionable.
The Las Vegas Raiders picked up a win in their first game under interim head coach Antonio Pierce on Sunday, improving to 4-5 on the season. Pierce announced earlier in the week that he’d start rookie QB Aidan O’Connell, who threw for 209 yards in Sunday’s home win over the Giants. Josh Jacobs rushed for two touchdowns in the win, and the Raiders’ defense recorded eight sacks and two interceptions. LB Luke Masterson and FB Jakob Johnson are dealing with concussions and considered questionable.
Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills

The Denver Broncos are coming off a bye week. The team is 3-5 and scored a major upset victory over the first-place Chiefs at home before the bye. That gave the Broncos their first winning streak of the season, with improved defensive play holding teams to an average of 10.3 points per game across the last three outings.
The Buffalo Bills dropped to 5-4 after losing 24-18 on the road against the Bengals on Sunday night. Josh Allen threw for 258 yards with one TD through the air and another on the ground. He also led the team in rushing with 44 yards on eight carries. LB Terrel Bernard left the game with a concussion and will have to clear protocol before returning, which means an already battered Buffalo linebacker group could be even more stretched. CB Christian Benford, LB Baylon Spector, and LB A.J. Klein are questionable for this week.
