NFL wild card round best odds and betting breakdowns
Cleveland Browns at Houston Texans
Spread: Browns , Texans
Moneyline: Browns , Texans
The Cleveland Browns opted to rest starters in a meaningless final game of the season, with the team’s record falling to 11-6 with a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. WR Amari Cooper is dealing with a heel injury and is questionable after sitting out practice on Tuesday. DE Myles Garrett has also been dealing with shoulder and hamstring issues that kept him out of practice and on the sideline for the final regular season game. C Ethan Pocic is also questionable with a shoulder issue. The Browns won the Dec. 24 meeting between these two teams by a score of 36-22. QB Joe Flacco threw for 368 yards with three TDs and two INTs in that game.
The Houston Texans finished the season 10-7 after beating the Indianapolis Colts 23-19 to close out the campaign. QB C.J. Stroud continues to turn in an outstanding rookie season, throwing for 264 yards with two TDs and no interceptions in Saturday’s win. Stroud did not play in the previous meeting between these two teams due to a concussion. WR Noah Brown sat out the final regular season game with a back injury and is questionable for this game. The entire starting defensive line for Houston did not practice on Tuesday, and all four starters are questionable this week.
Miami Dolphins at Kansas City Chiefs
Spread: Dolphins , Chiefs
Moneyline: Dolphins , Chiefs
The Miami Dolphins came up short at home against the Bills on Sunday night and missed a chance to clinch the AFC East. The team is struggling through some injuries to key players, including RB Raheem Mostert and WR Jaylen Waddle, both of whom missed Sunday’s game and are questionable this week. RB De’Von Achane and WR Tyreek Hill were also limited in practice this week due to injuries. Miami was missing three defensive backs from practice this week. These two teams met in Week 9, with Kansas City notching a 21-14 win at home. QB Tua Tagovailoa threw for 193 yards with one touchdown in that loss.
The Kansas City Chiefs rested most of their starters in the final game of the season, beating the Los Angeles Chargers 13-12. QB Patrick Mahomes threw for two TDs in the team’s Week 9 win over Miami. LT Donovan Smith is questionable with a neck injury, and backup Wanya Morris is currently in the concussion protocol. Wide receivers Rashee Rice was back to full participation in practice this week. Kansas City was uncommonly vulnerable at home this season, going 5-4 and finishing with a better record on the road.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Buffalo Bills
Spread: Steelers , Bills
Moneyline: Steelers , Bills
The Pittsburgh Steelers advanced to the playoffs with a 17-10 road win over a Baltimore Ravens team that was resting most of its key starters on Saturday. QB Mason Rudolph threw for 152 yards and one TD in the win. RB Najee Harris was missing from practice this week due to a knee issue. Edge rusher T.J. Watt has been ruled out for this game with an MCL sprain. These two teams did not face each other during the regular season. Pittsburgh was 5-3 on the road.
The Buffalo Bills clinched the AFC East with a 21-14 road win over the Dolphins on Sunday night. QB Josh Allen threw two TD passes and was also picked off twice. Allen led the team in rushing with 67 yards on 15 carries. WR Gabe Davis is questionable with a knee issue this week. LT Dion Dawkins left Sunday’s game with a cut on his hand that required stitches but is expected to play. Buffalo went 7-2 at home this season.
Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys
Spread: Packers , Cowboys
Moneyline: Packers , Cowboys
The Green Bay Packers clinched a playoff spot with a 17-9 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. QB Jordan Love threw for 316 yards and two TDs. The Packers have a battered receiver group, with Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs both dealing with injuries and listed as questionable. RB AJ Dillon was kept out of practice with injuries to his neck and thumb. These two teams did not meet during the regular season. Green Bay finished the season with three straight victories and is 4-5 on the road.
The Dallas Cowboys finished the season strong, beating the Washington Commanders 38-10 to clinch the NFC East title. QB Dak Prescott threw for 279 yards with four TDs and one interception. CB Stephen Gilmore left the game with a shoulder injury and is questionable this week, as are offensive linemen Tyler Smith and Zach Martin. DT Johnathan Hankins missed practice with an ankle issue and is questionable. Dallas is undefeated at home this season.
Los Angeles Rams at Detroit Lions

The Rams won four straight to close out the campaign and are 5-4 on the road this year.
The Detroit Lions finished the season with a 30-20 home win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, but the win by Dallas means that Detroit is the No. 3 seed. QB Jared Goff threw for 320 yards with two TDs in the victory. TE Sam LaPorta went down with a knee injury and did not practice this week, though the team has said there is a limited chance that he could still play this week. The Lions went 6-2 at home this season and won the NFC North.
Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Spread: Eagles , Buccaneers

The Philadelphia Eagles struggled with a late-season collapse, finishing with an ugly loss against the New York Giants. QB Jalen Hurts is dealing with a finger issue but is expected to play. Brown (knee) and DeVonta Smith (ankle) questionable. These teams last met on Sept. 25, with the Eagles winning 25-11.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers clinched the NFC South with a 9-0 win over the Panthers on Sunday. QB Baker Mayfield threw for 137 yards in the win, but the Bucs were kept out of the end zone all day. CB Josh Hayes left the game with an injury, and he’s questionable for this game. Tampa Bay is 4-4 at home this season. Mayfield threw for one TD and one interception in his last outing against Philadelphia.
