College football Week 7 betting previews

Oregon vs. Washington betting preview

It’s a battle of undefeated Pac-12 teams on Saturday afternoon in Seattle. Oregon is a perfect 5-0 on the year and ranked eighth in the latest poll. Last time out, the Ducks traveled to Stanford and rolled over the Cardinal by a score of 42-6. Washington is 5-0 and ranked seventh, most recently picking up a 31-24 win over Arizona. The Huskies lead the all-time series between these two schools with a record of 61-48-5, and they picked up a 37-34 win in Oregon last season.

USC vs. Notre Dame betting preview

One of college football’s most storied rivalries resumes under the primetime lights in South Bend. USC is ranked 10th and has a record of 6-0. Last week, the Trojans needed triple overtime to survive a scare against Arizona and escape with a 43-41 victory. Notre Dame is 5-2 and has dropped to 21st in the latest poll following a 33-20 loss to Louisville. The Fighting Irish have a 48-37-5 advantage in all-time meetings against USC.

Miami vs. North Carolina betting preview

Two ranked ACC squads will square off in Chapel Hill on Saturday night. Miami is 4-1 and ranked 25th following a 23-20 upset loss to Georgia Tech. The Hurricanes were 19-point favorites and suffered a devastating defeat after failing to take a knee to close it out. North Carolina is 6-0 and ranked 12th. The Tar Heels defeated Syracuse 40-7 last week. For the season to date, Miami is 3-2 against the spread, while North Carolina is 4-1.

College football Week 7 futures report

The race for the College Football Playoff remains in the same shape as last week. Georgia and Michigan remain atop the odds board. Both teams have perfect records of 6-0 and are the top two teams in the AP poll. Ohio State and Florida State are also unblemished and hold down the next two spots.

In a bit of a scheduling rarity, the four top teams will all be in action at noon ET on Saturday. The four clubs will walk onto the field as heavy favorites. An upset for any of them will have a big impact on the landscape. Washington, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Oregon are the next teams up in the latest odds.

USC QB Caleb Williams remains among the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy. He’s looking to enter rarefied territory and join Archie Griffin as the second player to win the prestigious award twice. The Trojans are 6-0 on the year and in the thick of the Pac-12 race. Williams has accounted for 28 total TDs thus far.

Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. is the new betting favorite at several top online sportsbooks. He has thrown for 1,999 yards and 16 TDs to help the Huskies to a 6-0 record. There’s a sharp dip in odds behind the top two choices. Rounding out the top five are Oregon QB Bo Nix, Oklahoma QB Dillon Gabriel, and Florida State QB Jordan Travis
