College football Week 2 schedule

The college football Week 2 schedule opens with a few weeknight contests on Thursday and Friday nights before wall-to-wall games on Saturday. Here’s a look at three of the featured matchups:

Nebraska vs. Colorado betting preview

Nebraska kicked off its season with a 13-10 road loss to Minnesota. The Cornhuskers are aiming to improve over last season’s 4-8 record under new head coach Matt Rhule. Colorado stole the spotlight in Week 1 with a massive road upset over TCU. Shedeur Sanders threw for 510 yards and four TDs in the 45-42 victory.

Texas A&M vs. Miami betting preview

Texas A&M picked up a convincing 52-10 home win over New Mexico last week. Aggies QB Conner Weigman had a stellar game, throwing for 236 yards and five touchdowns. Miami opened with a 38-3 home win over Miami-Ohio. The Hurricanes are a slight home underdog as they welcome the 23rd-ranked team in the nation.

Texas vs. Alabama betting preview

It’s a battle of top programs under the primetime lights as the 11th-ranked Longhorns travel to take on the No. 3-ranked Crimson Tide. Texas kicked off the season with a 37-10 win over Rice, while Alabama had its way with Middle Tennessee State in a 56-7 rout. Crimson Tide sophomore QB Jalen Milroe put his stamp on the proceedings with five total TDs.
