NFL conference championship best odds and betting breakdowns

Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens

Sunday, 3 p.m. ET

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills on the road on Sunday to advance to the AFC championship game. QB Patrick Mahomes threw for 215 yards with two TDs, both of which were hauled in by TE Travis Kelce. The Kansas City defense shut the Bills out in the fourth quarter to secure the win. LB Willie Gay left the game with a neck injury. FS Mike Edwards left with a concussion. Both are questionable for this week. LG Joe Thuney has been downgraded to doubtful with a pectoral injury. The Chiefs were 6-2 on the road during the regular season, a better mark than they had at home.

The Baltimore Ravens advanced to the conference title game with a 34-10 home win over the Houston Texans on Saturday. QB Lamar Jackson threw for two TDs and ran for two more. Baltimore went 6-3 at home this season, though the last of those losses came in the final game of the regular season, during which the team opted to rest many of its starters after clinching the top seed in the AFC the week before. CB Marlon Humphrey is dealing with a calf injury and is questionable for this game, but otherwise the Ravens are relatively healthy.

Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers

Sunday, 6:30 p.m. ET

The Detroit Lions notched a 31-23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home on Sunday to advance to the NFC conference championship game. QB Jared Goff threw for two TDs and 287 yards in the win. C Frank Ragnow is dealing with sprains to both his knee and ankle and is questionable. LG Jonah Jackson left the game with a knee injury and has been downgraded to doubtful this week after undergoing surgery for a minor meniscus tear. LB Alex Anzalone is questionable with injured ribs. Detroit was 6-3 on the road in the regular season.

The San Francisco 49ers advanced to the NFC conference championship game with a 24-21 home win over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night. QB Brock Purdy threw for 252 yards with one TD in the win, while RB Christian McCaffrey ran for two touchdowns and 98 yards on 17 carries. WR Deebo Samuel got some work in at Wednesday’s practice but is still questionable with a shoulder injury that he suffered early in the divisional round. The 49ers went 5-3 at home during the regular season.
