The Vikings are off to an impressive undefeated start. Darnold has been a huge part of the club’s success. He’s currently ranked third in the league in passer rating.
Darnold has quickly ascended in NFL Comeback Player of the Year odds as a result and now holds down second place on the board.
Darnold finds a home in Minnesota

The third overall pick at the 2018 NFL Draft by the Jets, Darnold is now on his fourth team in seven pro seasons. He signed a one-year deal with the Vikings in free agency.
Darnold was expected to serve as a transitionary starter or hold down the backup role for this season. The team officially handed him the QB1 role after first-round draft choice JJ McCarthy suffered a season-ending knee injury during the preseason.
After his impressive start to begin the season, Darnold’s odds to win the Comeback Player of the Year award have jumped from +6000 to +600. He’s now second on the board, behind Aaron Rodgers (+125).
The Vikings are on the road this week to take on the Packers. Afterward, it’s a trip over to London to take on the Jets.
