Anytime touchdown scorer odds at bet365

Jahmyr Gibbs

At -334, Jahmyr Gibbs has by far the shortest odds of any player to score on Sunday Night Football — by a wide margin — at bet365.

Now the definitive lead back with co-starter David Montgomery sidelined, Gibbs has scored in 12 of his 14 games this season and twice in both games since Montgomery suffered a knee injury in Week 15. Gibbs has scored a touchdown in four of the five games he’s played without Montgomery in his career.

He faces a Minnesota defense tied with Philadelphia for giving up the third-fewest rushing touchdowns to opponents this season.

Gibbs has scored five times in his three games against the Vikings since he was drafted and cashed anytime touchdown bets in each game.

Aaron Jones

At –138, Aaron Jones would typically have the shortest odds to score in this game if it weren’t for Gibbs’ increased workload and Montgomery’s injury.

The Minnesota running back has seven touchdowns this year, though he has not found the end zone since Week 15 against the Bears. He did manage a rushing touchdown in Minnesota’s Week 7 win over Detroit.

The Lions have been less stingy against running backs than the Vikings, as their defense has given up the ninth-most rushing touchdowns this season.

Jones is not much for competition, however, as he ranks third among all running backs with 85.7% of his team’s carries inside the red zone.

Justin Jefferson

Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson and Cam Akers and Detroit’s Amon-Ra St. Brown share the third shortest anytime touchdown odds at bet365, at -120 apiece.

Jefferson ranks fifth in total touchdowns by a wide receiver this season and is seventh in total red zone targets at his position.

He faces a daunting task, however, in a Lions defense that has given up the fourth fewest passing touchdowns this season.

Cam Akers

Akers may be the understudy behind a workhorse in Jones, though he’s outpaced the former Packer in red zone targets since Week 16.

He could get another play called for him against a Lions defense that has been stingy against rushing touchdowns.

Amon-Ra St. Brown

St. Brown has the second shortest odds behind Gibbs of any Lion to score in this game, and for good reason.

The Detroit wide receiver is tied with Washington’s Terry McLaurin for the second-most touchdowns at his position this year with 12. The pair are also tied with the most touchdowns inside the red zone.

Brown boasts the second-highest red zone target rate at his position as well. He faces a Minnesota defense that is 15th in passing touchdowns to opponents, though he has scored against it in each of their last three matchups.
