My DraftKings Predictions verdict
DraftKings Predictions earns a strong 4.2 out of 5 in my testing. Banking is the standout, backed by a real Venmo withdrawal I requested that landed in three minutes against a stated window of one to two business days.
Promotions, User Experience & Responsible Trading each score 4.7/5. The welcome offer paid me $200 in trading bonuses for a $5 trade, and I never needed a promo code to claim it.

Liquidity is the real weak spot, at 3.4/5. DraftKings Predictions showed me no order book, no bid-ask spread, and no volume figure anywhere, so I had to infer the real cost of trading in and out rather than read it off the screen.
Market Coverage scores 3.7/5. The platform’s breadth is real, but settlement-source disclosure is what actually caps this score. It is one of several operators I cover in my guide to the best prediction markets.

How I tested DraftKings Predictions
I tested DraftKings Predictions with real money between Oct. 5 and Oct. 15, 2026. Every finding in this review traces back to one of the real tests below, run on my own funded account. Here is what each one showed.
| Test | What It Showed |
| Claimed the welcome offer on a real $5 trade | $200 in bonuses, paid out in four installments over 21 days |
| Counted every live market, category by category | More than 900 live markets across seven of eight categories, led by 750+ in Sports alone |
| Bought a $10 Bitcoin position and read the Sell-button quote seconds later | 8.4% quoted round-trip cost, the moment the position opened |
| Timed a real market’s payout, start to withdrawable balance | 28 seconds after expiry on my S&P 500 position |
| Requested a real Venmo withdrawal | $23 arrived in 3 minutes, against a stated window of one to two business days |
| Contacted live chat twice and asked a fixed set of five questions | Never reached a human in either attempt; answered 5 of 5 questions correctly anyway |
DraftKings Predictions welcome bonus: 4.7/5
DraftKings Predictions paid me $200 in trading bonuses after a single $5 trade, split into four installments over 21 days. I never needed a promo code to claim it.
The first $50 landed within 72 hours of my qualifying trade. Three more $50 installments followed every seven days after that, arriving as click-to-claim offers that expired a week after they appeared.

The bonus arrived as non-withdrawable Predictions Dollars, valid for one year. DraftKings Predictions also runs a referral program that pays $50 in Crown Cash when a referred friend joins and trades $5 or more within 30 days on any DraftKings product.
The offer carries one significant restriction I ran into. It applies only to customers with no existing DraftKings account across sportsbook, casino, or daily fantasy, so longtime DraftKings users on other products are not eligible.
I did not need a promo code for this offer. As with any offer in this vertical, exact terms and eligibility can vary by state, so confirm your own state’s terms before trading. Readers looking specifically for bonus code details can find the full terms on our DraftKings Predictions promo code page.
Why I rated it 4.7/5
The real, math-adjusted value here is strong. A $5 trade unlocked $200 for me, a 40-to-1 ratio that clears almost any bar I set in this vertical.
The eligibility restriction, new to DraftKings entirely rather than just new to Predictions, is the one catch worth knowing before signing up. A broader eligibility rule, open to existing DraftKings sportsbook or casino customers, is the one change that would raise this score.
DraftKings Predictions market selection: 3.7/5
DraftKings Predictions covers seven of the eight major market categories I track, missing only Science. Sports carries the deepest bench, with more than 500 live markets across 12 sport groups, while Politics adds more than 100 and Crypto adds 23 short-dated price-strike contracts.
Ten of the 27 sports leagues I track clear my five-market minimum for real coverage, once the NBA’s and college basketball’s in-season counts are included. Fourteen leagues, including cricket, rugby, and esports, have no listing on the platform at all.
Settlement-source disclosure is where DraftKings Predictions lost points with me. Of the 13 markets I sampled, only three named a specific, independent, and objective settlement source directly on the trade slip: an S&P 500 futures contract, a TIME Person of the Year market, and a climate-index market.

Six more markets pointed me to a rulebook rule number instead of naming an actual settlement agency. Two, including an NFL spread market, named no source at all, and DraftKings Predictions runs three separate exchanges, DKeX, CME, and CDNA, which is why disclosure quality varies so widely from market to market.
Worth a quick aside: Using my own funded account, testing from Illinois, I could only trade Crypto, Financials, and Economics markets, since the platform currently places Illinois in its “Financial Markets Only” tier. That said, the counts above reflect the full national board.
Why I rated it 3.7/5
Breadth is real here. Summing my own category-by-category counts puts the platform’s live-market total above 900, led by more than 750 sports markets alone across its strongest leagues.
Crypto’s 23 markets are still the same short-dated product in 15 coin wrappers, Culture spans only seven markets, and Climate has exactly one, so the depth thins out fast once a trader looks past the homepage. Settlement-source disclosure, not breadth, is what actually holds this score down. Clearer sourcing across all markets, not just the top three, would move it higher.
DraftKings Predictions deposits, withdrawals, and payout speed: 4.8/5
DraftKings Predictions supports six funding methods. ACH bank transfer, debit and credit cards, digital wallets (Apple Pay, Venmo, Cash App Pay, and PayPal), wire transfer, and paper check all worked for deposits when I tested.
Wire transfer works for deposits only, with no withdrawal option. Cryptocurrency is not supported on either side, despite the platform’s own crypto markets.
Every method lists its own speed and limits directly on the withdrawal screen, a transparency win I appreciated. Stated speeds run from under two business days for Online Banking to seven to 14 business days for a paper check.
My own test beat every stated number. I requested a Venmo withdrawal and watched $23 arrive in 3 minutes, against a stated window of one to two business days.
Settlement speed, a separate clock from withdrawal speed, was just as fast. My S&P 500 position settled 28 seconds after its 1 p.m. ET expiry, with the full payout showing as withdrawable cash immediately.
DraftKings Predictions charges $0.01 per contract per side, plus a separate exchange fee that varies by market. I never saw that fee as its own line on the trade slip, only as a gap between the quoted price and the price I actually paid.

One real friction point hit me during testing. My first withdrawal attempt to Apple Cash bounced back because DraftKings Predictions does not support withdrawals to that method, and the funds were returned to my account within minutes.
Why I rated it 4.8/5
A tested three-minute withdrawal within a stated window of days is the kind of result that earns me a near-perfect score. The one deduction is fee transparency: showing the per-contract cost as its own line on the trade slip, rather than leaving me to do the math myself, would push this to a perfect score.
DraftKings Predictions liquidity and trading costs: 3.4/5
Liquidity is the hidden cost of changing your mind. It is the gap between the quoted price and what a trader actually receives when they need to exit a position before it settles, plus any fees the platform already charges.

DraftKings Predictions showed me no order book, no bid-ask spread, and no volume figure on any market. Every trade showed a single price per side and a dollar box, with nothing beneath it to show real depth.
I bought $10 of a Bitcoin contract trading at 81%, paying $9.96 for 12 contracts. Seconds later, the position’s Sell button quoted me $9.12, an 8.4% round-trip cost if I had sold immediately.
I let the position ride to its one-hour resolution instead, to double it as a settlement-speed test, so that 8.4% figure is a quoted price, not an executed sale.
A second position I opened, a next-day S&P 500 contract, showed the same pattern: $9.79 in, a $9.02 quote seconds later, a 7.9% figure I likewise never executed.
The platform’s design made it difficult to run a true multi-day liquidity check. Both of my contracts settled before I could come back for a planned follow-up check, since DraftKings Predictions leans toward short-dated markets that resolve in hours or a single day rather than weeks.
Several markets showed one-sided pricing during my testing. A G7 leader market had three of its four No positions locked, and a one-hour Hedera price market showed a Yes price with no No side at all.

Why I rated it 3.4/5
The quoted costs on both of my positions, 8.4% and 7.9%, are steep for a $10 trade, and they came from the platform’s own Sell button rather than an executed round-trip sale. That opacity, more than any single bad trade, is what caps this score. A visible order book, or even a published volume figure, is what would move it higher.
DraftKings Predictions customer support: 4.0/5
DraftKings Predictions offers four official contact paths. A Help Center, live chat, a mailing address in Boston, and an email address all count as real, documented channels.
Live chat never connected me to a human in either timed test I ran. The AI assistant handled my first attempt despite my explicit request for a person, and my second was resolved only via email after I asked about self-exclusion.
That email reply came back in about an hour. I ask every platform in this vertical the same fixed set of five questions, and the bot answered all five of mine correctly, covering a promo term, a withdrawal rule, a state-eligibility detail, a responsible-trading question, and the dispute process itself.
A dispute path does exist, reached by asking the bot directly. Separately, DraftKings Predictions carries no arbitration clause with the company itself, instead routing disputes to Boston courts with a jury waiver and a one-year time bar on claims.

Why I rated it 4.0/5
Five correct answers out of five is a genuinely strong accuracy result, and it keeps this score from falling further. But never reaching a human being in two separate attempts, including one where I asked for a person directly, is a real gap for a platform handling real money. Reaching a real human within a reasonable window would raise this score.
DraftKings Predictions app and responsible trading tools: 4.7/5
DraftKings Predictions runs a mature app on both major platforms. The iOS app holds a 4.9-star rating from 14,000 reviews, and the Android app holds a 4.8-star rating from 922 reviews, with no waitlist on either.
Navigation matched the rest of the DraftKings ecosystem I already knew, with fast load times and no crashes during my testing. My cash sitting idle stayed clearly separated from money locked in open positions, shown as its own line on the balance screen.
All seven Responsible Trading tools I track are present. Deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, cool-off periods, self-exclusion, crisis-line signposting, and age verification are all available in the app’s My Budget and Controls section.

The Build My Budget tool let me set custom limits across deposits, spending, time, and more. Two gaps kept this category from a perfect score for me: account closure requires contacting support rather than a self-serve option, and I found no running profit-and-loss total or downloadable tax document in my account.
Why I rated it 4.7/5
Seven of seven Responsible Trading tools, paired with a mature, stable app, is close to the ceiling for this category in my book. A self-serve account closure option and a visible tax-document section are the two things that would push this to a perfect score.
Is DraftKings Predictions legal and trustworthy?
DraftKings Predictions operates through Gus III LLC, a Nevada company and a subsidiary of DraftKings Inc. (NASDAQ: DKNG), headquartered in Boston. The company is a Commodity Futures Trading Commission-registered futures commission merchant and National Futures Association member, upgraded from introducing broker status in July 2026.
Trade execution runs across three exchanges, DKeX, CME, and CDNA, with clearing split among CME, Crypto.com, and Bitnomial Clearinghouse. Wedbush Securities holds customer funds in segregated accounts as the clearing futures commission merchant.
A federal class action, Chan v. DraftKings Inc. and Gus III LLC, was filed in Massachusetts on July 28, 2026. The suit alleges DraftKings Predictions functions as unlicensed sports betting relabeled as event contracts, a claim DraftKings has not been found liable for as of this review.
Neither Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) nor Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) coverage, the standard protections on a typical brokerage or bank account, is mentioned anywhere in DraftKings Predictions’ public terms, financial disclosures, or regulatory filings. That silence matters, since it means customer funds have no protection in the event of a platform failure.
The platform’s terms allow it to void, amend, or close a position at its own discretion, with no advance notice required. Disputes with DraftKings itself are not subject to arbitration, instead heading to Boston courts under a jury waiver and a one-year window to file a claim.
DraftKings Predictions is available nationwide for sports through the DraftKings Sports & Casino app, the same company-level availability behind DraftKings Sportsbook and DraftKings Casino. Which specific markets I could access on DraftKings Predictions still depended on my location and eligibility, and that footprint is narrower than the company’s nationwide reach as a whole.
Here is where DraftKings Predictions itself is currently live, state by state: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV & WY.
How DraftKings Predictions compares
DraftKings Predictions’ 4.2/5 overall score matches both Underdog Predict and Kalshi my testing, though the category breakdown tells a more specific story. Here is how all three stack up, category by category.
| Category | DraftKings Predictions | Underdog Predict | Kalshi |
| Overall | 4.2/5 | 4.2/5 | 4.2/5 |
| Promotions | 4.7/5 | 3.8/5 | 3.2/5 |
| Market Coverage | 3.7/5 | 3.6/5 | 4.7/5 |
| Banking | 4.8/5 | 4.7/5 | 4.8/5 |
| Liquidity | 3.4/5 | 4.3/5 | 3.5/5 |
| Customer Support | 4.0/5 | 4.4/5 | 3.7/5 |
| User Experience & Responsible Trading | 4.7/5 | 4.5/5 | 5.0/5 |
Market Coverage runs close to Underdog Predict, 3.7/5 against its 3.6/5, though the two platforms get there differently. Underdog Predict trades sports exclusively, while DraftKings Predictions spreads across seven categories instead.
Kalshi leads on Market Coverage at 4.7/5, with more than 5,100 live markets against DraftKings Predictions’ own, more conservative count. Banking is a tie between DraftKings Predictions and Kalshi, both at 4.8/5.
Liquidity is DraftKings Predictions’ clearest gap against the field. Its 8.4% quoted round-trip cost on a busy market runs well above the 3.3% I measured round-tripping a busy market on Underdog Predict, and both Underdog Predict and Kalshi score higher in this category overall.
DraftKings Predictions: Final verdict
DraftKings Predictions backed up its banking promises with a three-minute Venmo withdrawal and paid me $200 on a $5 trade, no code required. Those two results carry most of this score.
Market Coverage and Liquidity are the categories to watch. My settlement-source disclosure findings were mixed, and both of my liquidity figures came from a quoted price rather than an executed sale, since my fast-resolving contracts settled before a longer check was possible.
Customer support’s inability to reach a human on two separate attempts is the clearest gap I would flag before trading real money here. Everything else I tested, from the welcome offer to the Responsible Trading tools, held up.
