The Kansas City Chiefs won their 10th straight game with a Week 4 road victory over the Chargers, but they lost their top receiver in the process. Rashee Rice suffered an apparent knee injury that is feared to be a torn ACL, which would effectively end his season if true. Rice has led the Chiefs with 288 receiving yards through his first three games.

Chiefs Super Bowl odds remain unfazed

With Isiah Pacheco (fibula) on injured reserve, the Chiefs are now projected for 11.5 wins at most books, with heavy juice on the over. Their odds to win the Super Bowl have lengthened from +450 at most books to +550 at bet365 and other sportsbooks.

For the Week 5 Monday Night Football matchup against visiting New Orleans, Kansas City opened as an eight-point favorite prior to the season. The Chiefs were at -6.5 prior to Week 4 and are down to -5.5 after Rice’s injury.

Have Mahomes’ MVP odds moved?

Patrick Mahomes has become the MVP favorite with odds as low as +240 at bet365 after Josh Allen’s Bills were blown out in Baltimore. The Chiefs are getting +200 odds to finish with the best regular season record where that bet is available.
