Genius Sports on Thursday announced the expansion of its interactive sports betting product, BetVision, now available for soccer through a new partnership with rights distributor Infront Bettor.

Genius Sports says its BetVision for soccer gives sportsbooks access to more than 120 global competitions, including the French Ligue 1 and UEFA Champions League qualifiers. The announcement marks the product’s second major sport integration following its NFL launch in 2023.

Single-screen betting experience

A signature “Touch-to-Bet” feature allows users to click directly on a player during a live stream to access corresponding betting markets, including props. The tool aims to streamline in-play sports betting and drive longer user engagement by minimizing friction between watching and wagering.

“This isn’t just a product, it’s a revolution in how fans watch, interact with, and enjoy the most popular sport in the world,” Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke said in a press release. “By uniting immersive live streaming, real-time data, and seamless in-game betting into one platform, we’re delivering a next-level experience for our customers.”

BetVision overlays player stats, personalized bet prompts and market tracking using AI, creating what Genius describes as a “customized journey” for viewers.

Genius Sports builds on US, NFL rollout

BetVision debuted during the 2023 NFL season with DraftKings, FanDuel, and Caesars, each of which integrated the feature into its sportsbook app. According to Genius Sports, users placed 76% of bets while the stream was active, with in-app viewership and engagement metrics climbing throughout the season.

Genius Sports is the official data partner of both the NFL and NCAA and has positioned itself as a full-service technology provider for regulated sportsbooks worldwide. Through its partnership with Infront, Genius gains access to top-tier video rights for soccer leagues across Europe and South America.

BetVision for soccer is available immediately to its Genius sportsbook partners, which includes more than 700 operators worldwide.
