How to claim March Madness Sweet 16 sportsbook promos
As rewarding as the aforementioned Sweet 16 betting promos are, there’s even more good news — claiming these offers is typically a simple, straightforward process that takes mere minutes. Legal Sports Report has the details on how to navigate the steps involved.
A new sportsbook customer first completes the account creation process, which typically requires that the user submit basic personal identifying information such as name, e-mail address, and Social Security information. Additionally, if you need a promo code to claim a welcome offer, there is usually a field to enter it at this point in the process. However, there are other instances where you don’t need a promo code to claim the welcome bonus. Instead, you may just need to click on a hyperlink for the bonus offer to access it.
You’ll also generally need to make a deposit before claiming a sportsbook bonus. The minimum for such a deposit is usually $5 or $10. Once you’ve done that, you may also need to make an initial minimum bet to trigger the benefits of the offer.
Sweet 16 Best Bet
Arizona +9.5 (-110 at BetMGM Sportsbook)
The Blue Devils haven’t come close to disappointing yet over the first two rounds after entering March Madness as the odds-on favorite to take home the national title. Duke first dismantled a significantly overmatched Mount St. Mary’s by a 93-49 score in the first round before dispatching Baylor by a score of 89-66 in the Round of 32 in a game where it did experience a bit of early trouble before pulling away.
Meanwhile, Arizona had a similarly easy opening clash by handling Akron 93-65, but it then had to tough out an 87-83 victory against Oregon behind Caleb Love’s 29-point, nine-rebound effort. The Wildcats trailed by as much as 15 points early before getting their act together and then hanging on late.
That sets up what should be an intriguing clash between the two offensive powerhouses. Duke is averaging 83.2 points per game, good for 11th in the country, since the start of the regular season, while Arizona checks in just below that with 82.2 points per contest. What’s more, Tommy Lloyd’s squad has been at its sharpest offensively away from its home floor, where it’s averaged 87.1 points per contest.
The two teams met during the regular season back on Nov. 22, when the Blue Devils handed the Wildcats a 69-55 loss. However, that was during a lackluster start to the season that saw Arizona go 4-5 in its first nine games. The Wildcats have gone 20-7 since, including their two March Madness victories thus far. Love has been outstanding, while a talented complementary cast that includes Jaden Bradley, KJ Lewis, Henri Veesaar and Tobe Awaka gives Arizona the depth to play with any team in the country.
Duke still enjoys a size advantage up front with 7-foot-2 Khaman Maluach at center, but Veesaar, a 7-footer in his own right, certainly poses more resistance than anyone Baylor was able to throw at the Devils. Additionally, Carter Bryant, who often flashed poise and play beyond his freshman status and has averaged 1.4 blocks and 0.9 steals over his last nine contests, could be a key contributor off the bench on both ends of the floor.
Cooper Flagg was tough to handle for Arizona in that early-season meeting (24 points, seven rebounds, three assists, three blocks, one steal), but Arizona should have gained from the experience of facing him earlier in the season. Ultimately, while a Duke victory is very much likely, the underdog is getting plenty of points here, putting us in the direction of an Arizona cover.
