How to Claim March Madness Round 2 Sportsbook Promos

Claiming a sportsbook promo is typically as easy as it is rewarding, and Legal Sports Report is here to break down the streamlined process.

To start, a new sportsbook customer will first complete the account creation process, which typically requires submitting basic personal identifying information such as name, e-mail address, and social security information. Additionally, if a promo code is required to claim a welcome offer, there is usually a field to enter it at this point in the process.  However, there are other instances where a promo code is not required to claim the welcome bonus, but rather, just a click on a hyperlink for the bonus offer allows them to access the offer.

An initial deposit, often of at least $5 and up to $10, is also usually required before a sportsbook bonus can be claimed. Once that is completed, the sportsbook user will have to make an initial bet of the minimum amount specified in the welcome offer terms in order to receive the full benefits of that offer.

Duke vs. Baylor Best Bet

Duke -11.5 (-118 at BetMGM Sportsbook)

The Blue Devils remain the odds-on favorite to win it all this year, and their Round 1 dismantling of the Mount St. Mary’s did nothing to dissuade that notion. Not only was Duke’s 44-point win in that opening matchup confirmation the Devils were motivated and clicking on all cylinders, but Cooper Flagg showed no ill effects from his ankle sprain by generating a quick 14 points (on 50.0% shooting), seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 22 minutes.

Meanwhile, Jon Scheyer’s squad offered a reminder of how they’d earned their No. 5 ranking in points per game allowed (61.5), No. 4 ranking opponent shooting percentage (38.4) and No. 1 ranking in opponent effective field-goal percentage (44.5) by limiting the Mountaineers to 30.2% shooting, including 18.5% from deep.

Baylor, which went 20-14 in the regular season, should certainly offer more resistance. However, the Bears aren’t exactly walking into this daunting matchup with a good track record against quality opponents, having lost to Gonzaga by 38, Tennessee by 15, Iowa State by 19, Arizona by 11, Texas Tech by 14 and Houston by 11.

This matchup also have another David-and-Goliath quality to it beyond Duke’s large projected advantage; the Blue Devils also enjoy a significant size advantage over a Bears squad that count 6-foot-7 senior forward Norchad Omier as their tallest player in the rotation they’ve been deploying most often recently. Junior Josh Ojianwuna, who at 6-foot-10 would have given Baylor a big boost, suffered a season-ending knee injury in February.

Duke counters with 7-foot-2 Khaman Maluach at center, who recorded 6.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks across just 20.9 minutes per game. Meanwhile, Flagg is 6-foot-9 in his own right, and the Devils’ overall size certainly played a part in their aforementioned success at forcing plenty of opponent shooting inefficiency. With Baylor draining just 44.8% of its attempts to begin with, this is a matchup that lines up especially well for Duke on the defensive end.

There’s more than enough of an imbalance of talent here to point us in the direction of a cover for the No. 1 team in the country.
