How to Claim March Madness Round 2 Sportsbook Promos

Claiming a sportsbook promo is a simple process, and Legal Sports Report has the details on how to navigate the steps involved.

A new sportsbook customer must first complete the account creation process, which typically requires submitting basic personal identifying information such as name, e-mail address, and social security information. Additionally, if a promo code is required to claim a welcome offer, there is usually a field to enter it at this point in the process.  However, there are other instances where a promo code is not required to claim the welcome bonus, but rather, just a click on a hyperlink for the bonus offer allows them to access the offer.

An initial deposit, often of at least $5 and up to $10, is also usually required before a sportsbook bonus can be claimed. Once that is completed, the sportsbook user will have to make an initial bet of the minimum amount specified in the welcome offer terms in order to receive the full benefits of that offer.

Ole Miss vs. Iowa St. Best Bet

Ole Miss +5.5 (-108 at DraftKings Sportsbook)

One of the more intriguing Round of 32 matchups Sunday unfolds at Fiserv Forum when the Ole Miss Rebels, fresh off a Round 1, hard-fought 71-64 win over North Carolina, face off with the Iowa State Cyclones, which dismantled Lipscomb by an 82-55 score in their first-round game.

The lopsided win wasn’t a surprise by any stretch, but this game projects to be a much tougher task for Iowa State, which sustained losses to fellow tournament participants Houston and BYU (twice) during an uneven final seven games. Nevertheless, the Cyclones did put together a stout defensive performance overall this season, ranking a respectable No. 45 in points per game allowed (67.7) and No. 52 in opponent field-goal percentage (41.6).

The Rebels make for an interesting matchup, given they’re an experienced team and that the guard duo of Sean Pedulla and Jaylen Murray have both been tournament participants in the past. Pedulla also set the pace fo the Rebels with 15.0 points per game, co-led them with 1.8 steals per contest, and shot 39.0% from downtown. He’s one of six players on a deep Ole Miss rotation with a double-digit scoring average this season.

The Cyclones counter with a formidable offensive arsenal themselves and shot a crisp 48.0% as a team, including 35.8% from behind the arc. However, one of those players, Keshon Gilbert, is unavailable due to a groin injury. It’s a significant loss for the Cyclones against quality competition, given he was the squad’s second-leading scorer (13.4 PPG), as well as both the assists (4.1 AGP) and minutes (31.6) leader.

Ole Miss is just 15-15-1 ATS since the start of the season, but just under half (five) of their 11 losses were by five points or less. Their defensive play is also on an upswing, as indicated by their No. 37 ranking nationally in forced turnover rate (19.8), their No. 27 in steals per game (8.7), and the fact they held a talented Tar Heels offense to 38.1% shooting, including 20.8% from three-point range, in the opening-round game.

The Rebels have enough here, given the factors cited, to inspire faith in a cover at a minimum, with an outright upset also within the range of outcomes.
