UFC 300 Prop Betting Odds & Preview: Pereira vs. Hill Props

UFC 300 goes down on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. As with most UFC events, the market for prop bets is a popular one with bettors, and sportsbooks have released odds on all the prop bet categories for the UFC 300 main event.

Light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira is a -130 favorite against former champ Jamahal Hill, who’s the underdog at +115. Below, we’ll look at all the latest UFC 300 odds for this main event. You can also check out other UFC odds and more information on UFC sportsbooks.

Alex Pereira vs. Jamahal Hill

As the reigning champion, Pereira (9-2) has built his reputation on his striking game. Of his nine wins in MMA, seven have come via knockout or TKO. He’s won two fights via decision, the latter of them a razor-thin split-decision. He’s never won a fight by submission and has only completed one takedown in his UFC tenure, preferring instead to stand and strike.

Hill (12-1) is also primarily known as a striker, and also likes to use his range and fight at distance when he can. Seven of his 12 career wins have come via KO/TKO, with the other five coming via decision. Like Pereira, he’s never won a fight by submission. Unlike Pereira, he’s never been submitted, with his lone professional loss coming via knockout back in 2021.

Hill has only gone five full rounds once in his career, and it was in his last fight against Pereira’s longtime coach Glover Teixeira last year. Hill won a lopsided decision to claim the vacant title in that bout, but was later forced to vacate it after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon. Hill has not fought since then, making this 15-month layoff the longest of his professional career.

For all his knockout power, Pereira isn’t known for quick finishes. He’s only scored one first-round knockout in his UFC career, and that came at middleweight against former champ Sean Strickland. The bulk of the finishes in Pereira’s career have come in the second round, after he’s had a chance to feel out his opponents and then turn up the pressure.
