Rose Bowl betting preview

Alabama closed out the season at 12-1, defeating defending national champion Georgia by a score of 27-24 in the SEC title game. The Crimson Tide’s lone blemish was a 34-24 home loss to Texas in Week 2. The club is 9-4 against the spread and 9-3-1 on the over/under. Milroe notched 3,186 all-purpose yards and 35 total TDs.

Michigan is a perfect 13-0, including a 26-0 win over Iowa to claim the Big Ten crown. The team won 10 of its 13 games by double digits and went 7-5-1 ATS and 6-6-1 on totals. Corum was a huge part of the offensive attack, gaining 1,110 total yards and making 24 trips to the end zone.

This will be the first meeting of the two programs since the 2020 Citrus Bowl, a 35-16 victory for Alabama, which leads the all-time series 3-2. In the CFP era, the Crimson Tide have made seven appearances, going 6-1 in semifinal games and winning the national title three times (2015, 2017, and 2020). The Wolverines have made the playoffs twice (2021 and 2022), losing both times in the semifinals.
