Formidable Utes look to rebound against pass-happy Wildcats
Last time out, the Arizona Wildcats escaped with a 34-31 win over the Colorado Buffaloes on the road after scoring 10 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. Running back Jonah Coleman ran for 179 yards on 11 carries. The Utah Utes, meanwhile, lost to the unbeaten Washington Huskies. The Utes had a chance to get back into it after a Washington player prematurely threw the ball behind him before crossing the goal line to celebrate a touchdown but fell 35-28.

Against Colorado, Arizona had over 200 rushing yards, and quarterback Noah Fifita threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns. The Utes also held Heisman contender Michael Penix Jr. () to a completion percentage of around 57% this past Saturday.
Arizona’s path to victory includes outdueling Utah’s defense
Arizona will host Utah in Week 12, but it’ll contend with a tough defense. Washington’s leading rusher, Dillon Johnson, had 104 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries against Utah, averaging 4.5 yards per carry. In addition to his completion percentage, Penix Jr. averaged 7.7 yards per attempt, his second-lowest average through Week 11. The Wildcats had zero turnovers against Colorado.
