Early College Football Odds: Spreads For Georgia, Michigan, LSU, And More

Undefeated Georgia looks to remain perfect against the high-powered Tigers

The Missouri Tigers haven’t had a season with double-digit wins since 2014. Still, they appear to be headed for that at 7-1 through nine weeks of this college football season. Here in Week 10, though, they’ll take on the undefeated Georgia Bulldogs, who are 8-0. The Tigers are coming off a bye week, while Georgia downed the Florida Gators 43-20 on the road. Quarterback Carson Beck threw for 315 yards and two touchdowns, while Daijuan Edward added two TDs and 95 yards on the ground. Wide receiver Ladd McConkey led the way with six catches, 135 yards, and a touchdown.

Georgia Bulldogs look at life without Bowers in big game

Without Brock Bowers, the Bulldogs were “business as usual” in Week 9, but this will be a more difficult matchup. Georgia is averaging 324.9 passing yards and 39.4 points per game, while the Tigers are at 301.6 passing yards and 33.7 points per game. Defensively, the Bulldogs have allowed less than 16 points per game while the Tigers have allowed nearly 10 more on average at 25.1, 53rd in the nation.

Tigers’ path to victory likely includes Cook, Burden III

The Tigers’ Brady Cook has played well this season. Last season, he had 14 touchdown passes, and this year, through eight games, he’s thrown 15. He also has 2,257 passing yards and is completing 69.4% of his passes. He also has just three interceptions. His top target is wide receiver Luther Burden III. He’s caught 61 passes for 902 yards and six touchdowns. Cook and Burden III will battle against Bulldogs cornerback Tykee Smith. He’s allowed 21 receptions for 149 yards and three touchdowns and also has four interceptions and two pass breakups.
