Saturday night football player props: Bills vs. Chargers

The Bills have been fighting for their playoff lives for several weeks and came up with clutch wins over the Chiefs and Cowboys after their Week 13 bye to improve to 8-6. Josh Allen is back among the top contenders for MVP, and cornerback Rasul Douglas has helped to shore up their injury-riddled secondary.

The Chargers are coming off one of the worst losses in NFL history, a 63-21 defeat at the Raiders that led to ownership firing head coach Brandon Staley and GM Tom Telesco. Outside linebackers coach Giff Smith will operate as the interim head coach, and Easton Stick is slated for another start with Justin Herbert (finger) done for the season.

Below, we will take a look at some player props for this matchup. If you are located in a state where DFS contests are legal, feel free to check out our PrizePicks, and Fliff sportsbook reviews.

Austin Ekeler has led the NFL in scrimmage touchdowns over the past two seasons but has struggled this year after spraining his ankle in Week 1. Ekeler has one rushing touchdown over his last five outings and was held to 9 yards on five carries in Week 15.

Josh Allen didn’t have to do much in a blowout win over Dallas last week, completing just seven of 15 passes for 94 yards after going 52-for-93 for 572 yards in Buffalo’s previous two games. Allen is averaging 258.2 passing yards per game with eight touchdowns and eight interceptions on the road this season.

Easton Stick completed 13 of 24 passes for 179 scoreless yards in relief of Herbert in Week 14. The Chargers fell into a huge hole in his first start, and he compiled some stats in garbage time to finish with 257 passing yards and three touchdowns.
