Potential key missing players

Deebo Samuel (shoulder)

During the divisional round game against the Packers, the 49ers’ Samuel exited early with a shoulder injury. This injury is comparable to one earlier this season in which he missed two games. David Lombardi of The Athletic has reported there’s no fracture, but Samuel remains in pain.

Danny Gray (shoulder)

The 49ers opened the 21-day window for wide receiver Danny Gray a few weeks ago. At the conclusion of that evaluation period, they’ve opted to keep him on injured reserve. Gray suffered his injury in August during the preseason.

Clelin Ferrell (knee)

In Week 18, Ferrell suffered a knee injury that landed him on injury reserve. He finished the season with four sacks and 31 pressures.
