Rebounding Ravens face Chargers on Sunday Night Football
The Baltimore Ravens rebounded in Week 11 after a Week 10 loss, beating the Bengals 34-20 on Thursday Night Football following a Joe Burrow injury. Quarterback Lamar Jackson threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns, while Gus Edwards ran for 62 yards and two TDs. Baltimore will take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12.
The Chargers are coming off a 23-20 road loss to the Green Bay Packers. Quarterback Justin Herbert threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 73 yards. Jordan Love, however, notched 322 yards versus the Los Angeles defense.
Ravens’ defense looks to slow down Herbert & Allen
The Baltimore defense has performed well, and here it will face the quarterback/wide receiver duo of Herbert and Keenan Allen. Of Herbert’s 260 passing yards and two touchdowns in Week 11, 10 receptions for 116 yards and one touchdown went to Allen. They’ll oppose Ravens cornerbacks Brandon Stephens, Kyle Hamilton, and Marlon Humphrey, who could return.
Chargers’ path to victory likely includes defensive stops
In addition to 322 passing yards to Love in Week 11 — a new season-high for the first-year starter — the Chargers allowed 41 points to the Detroit Lions the week before the Packers game. The Chargers are 4-6 and in the midst of a two-game losing streak.
