After one week of action, the Super Bowl odds board has wasted little time responding to what has happened.
The Dallas Cowboys are among the teams on the rise after an impressive road win, while a few clubs have been knocked down the charts. That list includes the Cincinnati Bengals following their stunning upset loss at home in Week 1.
One week does not make a season. However, the latest 2025 Super Bowl odds provide a snapshot of the current state of affairs for all 32 teams — both on the field and from a betting perspective.
Cowboys lead the list of early risers
Following Week 1 results, the Cowboys have taken one of the most notable leaps up the board.
At BetMGM Sportsbook, Dallas was hovering around the top 10 in preseason betting odds at +2000. After a 33-17 road win over the Browns that wasn’t as close as the final score suggests, the Cowboys’ line has ticked up to +1400 at the sportsbook.
New Orleans is among the other notable risers in the wake of impressive outings.
The Saints’ big game odds stand at +6600 at most NFL betting sites following a 47-10 destruction of Carolina. That still leaves them in the middle of the pack on the board, but it’s quite a jump after entering the season at +10000.
The Chiefs (+500) and 49ers (+550) remain comfortably atop the charts as we get set for NFL Week 2 action.
At BetMGM, Kansas City has attracted 14.3% of betting tickets and 16.3% of betting handle. San Francisco has generated less volume, with 6.6% of tickets and 8.6% of the handle.
Bengals tumble after disastrous home loss
The Bengals were at home in Week 1 as -7.5 favorites over a Patriots team that was welcoming a new head coach and QB1. A 16-10 New England victory later, and Cincinnati has questions to answer. The team’s Super Bowl odds have also taken a hit.
The Bengals were in the top five entering the season at +1500. They now find themselves trying to hang onto a spot in the top 10 at +2000. Cincinnati has a stiff test on tap this week: on the road versus the defending champion Chiefs.
Green Bay is among the other squads whose odds have taken a tumble. A loss to Philadelphia and the Jordan Love injury have led to the team dropping out of the top 10 entirely. The Packers’ odds were +1800 in advance of the opener and now stand at +3500.
Which teams are attracting Super Bowl betting interest?
Several other squads are attracting 2025 Super Bowl betting interest at BetMGM. The sportsbook notes that since the end of Week 1, the most bets have come in on the Detroit Lions.
Detroit is one of the sportsbook’s biggest liabilities, with 14.3% of tickets and 16.3% of betting handle coming in on the Lions to win it all.
Beyond the Chiefs, 49ers, and Lions, just three other clubs have attracted more than 5% of the total betting handle: the Baltimore Ravens (6.6%), Eagles (6.4%), and New York Jets (5.6%).
For Super Bowl matchups, the most popular wager has been Chiefs vs. Lions (+2000). Those two clubs are also BetMGM’s top liabilities to win their respective conferences.
