More registrants are confirmed for regulated Alberta online casinos and sportsbooks, which go live in less than a week.

Not all of the more than 50 registered operator brands are guaranteed to launch on day one, though many will. The latest update from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis saw six additional content suppliers and two operators added to the list.

Alberta online casinos and sportsbooks go live July 13. It is the second province to a regulated iGaming industry after Ontario was the first in April 2022.

There were two new operators added in Friday‘s update: Ellipse Entertainment and Tonybet.

Neither are new to Canadian gambling as both are live in Ontario. Tonybet operates a casino and betting platform under the same name while Ellipse operates the High Flyer Casino brand.

The six new suppliers include both casino and sports betting content:

  • Amusnet Gaming, casino content
  • Catalist Sports, the exclusive U.S. reseller of official data and streaming for events including the Australian Open
  • Fennica Gaming, casino content
  • OpenBet, a sports betting content and gaming services supplier
  • RAW Operations, casino content
  • Super Group, which operates multiple sports betting and casino brands

There was also one supplier removal from the list: Penn Entertainment‘s Score Digital Sports Ventures, the subsidiary responsible for the in-house trading platform used by theScore Bet. That was due to a technical change and its approval is now included under the company’s Score Media and Gaming operator registration.
