Bet365 launched its online sportsbook in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday morning, giving district bettors access to its sports betting platform for the first time.

“Bringing bet365 to our nation’s capital expands our reach in the U.S. and establishes our presence in one of the country’s most dynamic sports markets,” bet365 Head of Development Tripp Stoddard said in a statement.

The launch comes alongside a new multi-year partnership with Monumental Sports & Entertainment, naming bet365 a Proud Partner of the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, and Washington Mystics. The deal gives the operator a year-round presence across three of the city’s professional sports franchises as it establishes itself in one of the country’s most competitive sports markets.

Bet365 Sportsbook has now expanded its sports betting operations to 19 markets across the U.S. The District of Columbia is also one of the only U.S. markets that allows bettors as young as 18 to wager.

Monumental Sports partnership

Bet365 is entering the D.C. market establishing partnerships with three professional sports teams. The entry comes with bet365 virtual signage before and during Capitals games, along with in-game commercials across Capitals, Wizards and Mystics broadcasts.

In addition, bet365 will also serve as presenting sponsor of Monumental Game Center, a feature that lets fans integrate real-time betting odds and gamification into live game streams for the Capitals, Wizards, and Mystics. The partnerships give fans a way to acquaint themselves with bet365.

“Our partnership with Monumental Sports & Entertainment gives us an exciting opportunity to introduce bet365 to Capitals, Wizards and Mystics fans and build lasting connections across Washington, D.C.,” Stoddard added.

Launch offer and product

D.C. bettors will gain access to markets of more than 100 sports with live-betting and in-game features. Bet365 is offering new customers $50 in bonus bets following a $10 wager.

The operator touts itself as being the Home of Winning Early, which means customers have a chance to win wagers before the final horn sounds under the Early Payout Offer promotion. Some examples include:

  • NBA bets are settled as winners when a team takes a 20-point lead
  • WNBA bets are paid out when a team goes 18 points ahead
  • NHL bets are settled as winners as soon as a team takes a three-goal lead

For the NFL season, bet365 is gifting users with a profit boost for all the Sunday NFL games an hour before kickoff of the first game.

Bet365 recent expansion

Bet365 has been busy expanding its portfolio of markets across North America in 2026. The operator went live with a sportsbook and online casino in Michigan (April), Alberta (July) and West Virginia (August) all in 2026.

While those markets, along with many others, require users be 21, D.C. bettors only have to be 18. Only Wyoming, New Hampshire and Rhode Island sets the age to 18.

Kentucky was part of that group, but raised the legal age to 21 in April and went into effect in July.
