Brandon Graham injury report

A clean injury report is something a team can only dream of entering the Super Bowl, and the Eagles’ report is looking a bit cleaner with recent updates on defensive end Brandon Graham.

The Eagles’ defense is sometimes overshadowed by the star power on the other side of the ball, but Vic Fangio’s group has been integral to Philadelphia’s success. The unit was missing one of its veteran leaders in Graham down the stretch, but the pass rusher said Wednesday that he remains on track for a Super Sunday return.

More about Graham and how he might impact Super Bowl betting below.

Brandon Graham injury report

Graham went on injured reserve Nov. 26 due to his triceps injury, but he recently returned to practice with the hopes of playing.

Graham has long been a vital member of Philadelphia’s defense since his selection in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. This season, he’d provided 20 tackles (15 solo), including 3.5 sacks, two defended passes and a forced fumble over 11 games before suffering his injury in the Week 12 win over the Rams.

If Graham can return to action against the Chiefs, he’d bolster an Eagles’ defense that has already been playing at an elite level most of the season, allowing a league-low 289.3 total yards per game since the beginning of the campaign.
