FanDuel has introduced “My Spend,” a responsible gaming tool designed to help customers better understand their gambling habits.
The dashboard, which is accessible on all FanDuel products, including its sportsbook, casino, fantasy, racing, and faceoff platforms, aims to help users track spending patterns and set more informed budgets, the sportsbook said in a news release Tuesday.
The tool offers a range of features, including the ability to view amounts deposited, net winnings, and bar charts of monthly deposit activity over various time frames, such as seven days, four weeks, or three months.
It also encourages users to utilize existing responsible gaming tools like deposit and wager limits.
Gaming personalization, responsibly
FanDuel Vice President of Responsible Gaming and Community Impact Alison Kutler highlighted the rationale behind “My Spend,” noting that it was developed in response to research showing that players want personalized insights into their gaming behavior.
“FanDuel believes our customers should always have a budget and plan in mind when they engage with our products,” Kutler said in a press release. “We are thrilled to introduce My Spend to help customers track their spending and manage their play.”
The launch is supported by a new advertising campaign that promotes the dashboard’s benefits. Ads, available in both English and Spanish, liken gambling without tracking spending to shooting basketballs in the dark and emphasize the importance of maintaining oversight of betting activities.
Broader FanDuel responsible gaming efforts
“My Spend” is part of FanDuel’s broader efforts to enhance responsible gaming practices.
In recent months, the Flutter-owned operator has introduced initiatives such as the Trusted Voices program, aimed at educating trusted adults on discussing gambling risks with young people, and expanded its partnership with Kindbridge Behavioral Health.
This collaboration provides mental health services to self-excluding players in certain markets, underscoring the company’s commitment to harm prevention.
FanDuel is also part of the Responsible Online Gaming Association, founded earlier this year.
