Caesars continues the rollout of its multi-brand online casino expansion this week, entering the NJ online casino market.
Caesars announced Wednesday that its online casino platform, Horseshoe Online Casino, had rolled out in the NJ online casino market. It is the fifth North American market for the Horseshoe platform.
“The Horseshoe brand is anchored by a promise to put the player first,” Matt Sunderland, Caesars Digital senior vice president and chief iGaming officer, said when the brand first launched in October. “… This launch reinforces our multi-brand online casino strategy by seamlessly bringing another one of our world-class Caesars brands into the palms of players’ hands.”

The NJ online casino launch is just the latest move for the new Caesars brand. Caesars began the rollout in Michigan in October.

NJ online casino market grows
There are 16 online casino brands in New Jersey, according to the state’s October gambling report.
New Jersey’s online gambling market continues to grow, as online casinos reported an October 2024 win of $213.6 million. That was more than the brick-and-mortar revenue of $208.7 million.
Brick-and-mortar revenue was down roughly 8% compared to October 2023, while the online figure was up 28%. Add in sports betting’s $77.5 million, and New Jersey saw a total gambling increase of 2.6% compared to a year ago.
Digital arm shines
In a recent earnings report, Caesars reported a $9 million quarterly loss.
Despite that figure, Caesars Digital grew 41% year over year to $303 million.
The iGaming segment reported an 83% increase in net revenue.
Horseshoe brand capitalization
Caesars aims to capitalize on the Horseshoe Casino brand, which began in 1951. There are now 10 brick-and-mortar Horseshoe destinations.
The company said the new app “operates on a natively built proprietary gaming platform with a bespoke bonus engine” that promises “customizable player promotions.”
It includes multiple Horseshoe-branded game titles and suppliers like Bragg Gaming, Games Global and AGS. It is also integrated into the Caesars Rewards program.
Other Caesars online gambling apps
The Horseshoe app joins the growing Caesars online portfolio that includes Caesars Sportsbook.
For online casinos, the company calls the Caesars Palace platform its “crown jewel.” It also has Harrah’s and Tropicana-branded platforms.
