College football Week 10 odds and analysis for key games

Ohio State vs. Penn State

This is the weekend’s main event, as the outcome could shape the trajectory of the Big Ten. The Buckeyes and Nittany Lions are both inside the top five in College Football Playoff odds to win the national championship. A loss for the Buckeyes will give them another defeat in the Big Ten after losing to Oregon. Penn State hasn’t beaten Ohio State since 2016.

Kentucky vs. Tennessee

Tennessee is the No. 7 team in the nation heading into Week 9, and after a win over Alabama, the Volunteers’ College Football Playoff lives are still in front of them. Tennessee is 84-26-9 against Kentucky all-time, and it’s won the last three meetings.

Florida vs. Georgia

Florida and Georgia always play in Jacksonville in a neutral-site game. Florida is 44-55-2 all-time against Georgia and has lost the last three meetings. Georgia quarterback Carson Beck threw three interceptions in a road win over Texas on Oct. 19. Florida is 4-3 this season and 3-1 in its last four games. Both teams will enter this game coming off a Week 9 bye.

Louisville vs. Clemson

Clemson is inside the top 10 in the AP Top 25 and has been undefeated since Week 1. Louisville is coming off a slugfest with Miami, putting up 45 points in a losing effort. We’ll see if Clemson can contain the Louisville offense, which ranks 13th in the nation this season in passing yards per game at 298.6.

Louisville has never beaten Clemson.

Oregon vs. Michigan

Oregon had a massive win over Ohio State on Oct. 12 as well as a 35-0 win over Purdue in Week 8. Quarterback Dillon Gabriel improved his Heisman Trophy odds with two touchdown passes and is completing well over 80% of his passes. Michigan has certainly taken a step back since last season, with a 4-3 record and losing its last two games (against Illinois and Washington). These teams haven’t played since 2007. Michigan hasn’t beaten Oregon since 1973.
