The MLB season is heating up after the All-Star break, and sportsbooks continue to present a slew of promotions for home run bets. FanDuel’s Dinger Tuesday and DraftKings’ Homerfest offer bonuses to bettors who back a player to hit a homer.
This weekend, BetMGM is offering a share of $50,000 in bonus bets for successful home run bets if the backed player hits a grand slam in the sportsbook’s Grand Slam Jackpot, and bet365 is offering $10 in bonus bets for each home run on Saturday for qualifying bettors.
This week, the Red Sox are in Colorado at homer-friendly Coors Field and the Astros are looking to tee off on the Athletics’ inexperienced pitching staff. Bryce Harper and the Phillies will aim to stay hot in a series at Minnesota, and the Yankees are hosting the Mets in a crosstown rivalry.
Home run props can be a popular way to figuratively swing for the fences at MLB sportsbooks, and adding those bets to a same-game parlay can offer even larger potential payouts. Keep an eye out for sportsbooks offering promotions on SGP bets and other wager combinations that might include home run bets.

What is FanDuel Dinger Tuesday?
Each Tuesday, customers who bet at least $25 on a player to hit a home run at FanDuel can opt in to a promotion for bonus bets. Then, regardless of whether the player you bet on homers, FanDuel will still provide you with $5 in bonus bets for each home run in that game.
For example, betting on Juan Soto (+400) to homer in Tuesday’s game against the Mets could potentially generate a $100 profit on a $25 bet if he hits a home run. Even if Soto doesn’t go yard, but five other players hit home runs in that matchup, FanDuel would award the bettor with $25 in bonus bets. You’ll have seven days to wager any bonus bets you receive through FanDuel’s promotion.
What is DraftKings Homerfest?
With the DraftKings promo, customers can collect on each home run hit throughout MLB on Tuesday. Bettors who opt in to the Homerfest promotion and place a bet of $10 or more on any player to hit a home run will collect $0.50 in bonus bets for each MLB homer that night.
The sportsbook also is offering a HR Odds Surge on any player to hit a home run on July 23, so with a +200 surge, taking the Brewers’ Christian Yelich to homer at the Cubs at +400 odds would shift to +600.
What is BetMGM’s Grand Slam Jackpot?
The Grand Slam Jackpot at BetMGM offers a potentially massive bonus to correct home run bets on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if the backed player hits a grand slam. Customers who place a straight bet of at least $10 on a player to homer will receive a share of $50,000 in BetMGM bonus bets with all other customers who backed that player. Only a customer’s first home run prop qualifies.
So if a customer wagers $10 on Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to homer on Friday at +400 odds as their first home run prop, they would receive a $50 payout if he hits a dinger. If that homer happens to be a grand slam, they would split $50,000 in bonus bets with anyone else who placed the same qualifying wager on Toronto’s slugger. If multiple batters hit a grand slam on a given day, bettors who backed each player will split the prize pool.
What is bet365’s Saturday Slugger?
Each Saturday, bet365 picks a premier MLB matchup for its Saturday Slugger bet365 bonus promotion. Customers placing a same-game parlay or parlays totaling $50 or more on that game can opt in to receive $10 in bonus bets for each home run in the sponsored game. Customers betting between $20 and $50 in parlays on the game will receive $5 in bonus bets per home run. The book pays out a minimum of $10 or $5 in bonus bets even if there are zero home runs in the game.
Wagers must be placed after 7 a.m. ET on the Saturday of the qualifying event and live bets will not count toward the promotion. The parlays must have odds of +100 or greater to qualify.
Favorites to hit a home run this week
Tyler O’Neill (Red Sox vs. Rockies)
O’Neill is getting +260 odds at DraftKings to homer tonight with the Red Sox facing Rockies starter Ty Blach at Coors Field. The high home run factor in Denver’s thin air plays a role in these odds, with teammate Rafael Devers (+295) also getting short odds to go yard. O’Neill is 8-for-18 in four games since the break and logged a two-homer game at Dodger Stadium on Saturday. When Blach last started a game on June 20, he gave up 10 hits and three home runs in four innings against the Dodgers.
Aaron Judge (Yankees vs. Mets)
The Yankees wrap up their Subway Series against the Mets on Wednesday and will be heavy favorites with ace Gerrit Cole taking on Mets lefty Sean Manaea. In 16 career plate appearances against Manaea, Judge has six hits, including two homers, plus three walks. Judge entered Tuesday with three home runs in his previous eight games.
Jorge Soler (Giants vs. Rockies)
This weekend, the Giants get another shot to capitalize on the thin air at Coors Field. In their last visit to Denver, Jorge Soler launched a home run that traveled 478 feet, the longest distance this MLB season. Soler will likely be among the favorites to homer Friday, with the Rockies scheduled to throw lefty Kyle Freeland. Since the start of 2023, Soler has slashed .261/.376/.578 against lefties, with 17 of his 52 hits leaving the yard.
