Chiefs Vs. Bills Divisional Round Player Props – Can Allen Rush For 45 Yards?

The Dallas Cowboys’ playoff pursuit is in excellent shape after the team beat the Philadelphia Eagles 33-13 on Sunday night. Now armed with a 10-3 record, the Cowboys have put themselves in a position to capture the NFC East from the Eagles in the final weeks of the season.

Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills ground out a tough and necessary 20-17 win against the Kansas City Chiefs to remain in the hunt for an AFC wild card spot. With a 7-6 record, the Bills might have the momentum to get back in control of what looked like a potentially lost season. They have a tall task in front of them, however, when they take on the Cowboys this Sunday in Week 15.

Cowboys likely looking to pressure Allen

It’s hard to point at Josh Allen for the Bills’ struggles this season. Even though he leads the NFL in turnovers, Allen is actually playing some of the best football of his career. Per SumerSports, he is second in total EPA (+124.3) among quarterbacks this season and has scored 33 total touchdowns — more than any other quarterback in the NFL.

Pressuring Allen is the most likely way to slow him down. Per PFF, Allen has thrown the third-most interceptions in the league (six) when pressured this season, and his completion percentage drops from 75.2% in a clean pocket to 50.4% when pressured. Even then, though, he has shown that he’s good enough to find solutions.

Bills’ path to victory likely includes a big game from Stefon Diggs

Josh Allen can’t do it all alone. But he doesn’t have to, not with Stefon Diggs on the team. However, Diggs’ influence has been pretty muted over the last two months. After starting the season hot with over 100 yards in five of the first six games of the season, he has topped 80 receiving yards just once. In his last six games, Diggs is averaging just 58 receiving yards and a bit under six catches per game.

Diggs is one of the game’s elite wide receivers, and he’s been a constant in the Buffalo offense for the last four seasons. He’s on track for his sixth consecutive 1,000-yard receiving season, but there’s been a dip in his usage.
