College Football Preview: Ole Miss vs. Georgia Odds, Betting Lines, & Injury Report

Undefeated Georgia looks to remain that way against the Rebels

The Georgia Bulldogs escaped with a win at home over the Missouri Tigers in Week 10, beating them 30-21 on the strength of a 20-11 score in the second half. Quarterback Carson Beck had 254 yards and two touchdowns. Brock Bowers’ replacement, Oscar Delp, came up with a touchdown. For the Ole Miss Rebels, they’re coming off a 38-35 win over the Texas A&M Aggies at home. Jaxson Dart had nearly 400 passing yards and two touchdowns. Running back Quinshon Judkins added 102 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

Bulldogs up against a tough offense

The Georgia Bulldogs will face an aggressive Ole Miss offense in Week 11. The Rebels are averaging 38.8 points, 297.7 passing yards, and 181.2 rushing yards per game. The Bulldogs defense is allowing 15.4 points per game and will look to slow down the rushing attack consisting of Judkins and Dart. Dart has rushed for 334 yards and seven touchdowns this year.

Ole Miss’ path to victory likely includes defensive pressure

This season, Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck has only been under pressure on 16.4% of his dropbacks. The Georgia offense line has only allowed nine sacks so far this season. When pressured, Beck has completed 15 of 34 passes (44.1%) for 243 yards, two touchdowns, and 7.1 yards per attempt. Ole Miss’ coverage unit might help give the Rebels’ pass rush more time to generate pressure, especially with John Saunders Jr. and Daijahn Anthony manning the safety spots. The Rebels have generated 156 pressures and 37 sacks this season.
