Morning line odds for the Breeders’ Cup Classic came out on Monday night. The following day, the first scratch was announced. Belmont Stakes winner Arcangelo, one of the early favorites at 7-2, was scratched due to a hind foot injury.
The current betting favorite is Arabian Knight, who enters with three wins in four career starts. Trainer Bob Baffert has a record four wins at the Breeders’ Cup Classic, while jockey Flavien Prat rode the winner at last year’s event.
Next up is White Abarrio, the recent winner of the Whitney Stakes, and Ushba Tesoro, who has $9.2 million in career earnings, including a victory at the 2023 Dubai World Cup. Last year’s winning trainer, John Sadler, is saddling Missed the Cut.
Breeders’ Cup Juvenile odds

Running out of post position number six, Locked is the morning line favorite for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile. The Todd Pletcher entrant has two wins in three career starts, most recently winning the 2023 Breeders’ Futurity.
Pletcher and Baffert account for six of the entrants in the 11-horse field. Three horses are tied for second on the board: Prince of Monaco, Timberlake, and Muth. At last year’s edition, Pletcher and jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. led Forte to victory.
