FanDuel is expanding to its NBA live betting offerings ahead of the upcoming season, its parent company Flutter Entertainment announced.

That includes a new FanDuel “narrative-driven” product, The Pulse, which will feature live bets tailored to each NBA game as it develops, Flutter said in a press release Thursday.

“As the action unfolds, new bets will be added to the feed in a narrative-driven format, offering fans a streamlined path to discover what is happening in a game in real-time,” Flutter said in the press release.

Examples include:

Injuries will not be incorporated, per a Flutter spokesperson.

Live same game parlays as well

FanDuel will also offer live Same Game Parlay betting for every game this season. Last season, the feature was only available for select games.

Regarded as one of the house’s most lucrative bet types, Same Game Parlays were first introduced by FanDuel in 2019. Today, they are an essential component of every major online sportsbook’s marketing strategy.

As sportsbooks decrease the latency between live bet placement and game action, they have increasingly looked for ways to generate more SGP betting.

FanDuel League Pass promo renewed

FanDuel, an official partner of the NBA, is also renewing its streaming promotion for the 2023-2024 season. Customers who bet at least $5 on the NBA will get three months of NBA League Pass for free. The offer runs through December 11.

Fans with an NBA ID, the league’s global membership program, will also gain access to unique FanDuel benefits and offers.

“FanDuel is committed to offering the top sportsbook product on the market and elevating the entertainment experience for fans this NBA season,” Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel’s chief commercial officer, said in a statement. “This year, we’re leveraging the power of our NBA partnership and our industry-leading platform to create an ecosystem where fans can bet on pivotal moments in a game in real-time and watch to see the results, elevating their sports betting and entertainment experience.”
