- Tommy Fleetwood: Tied for third place last week with a final score of -14. Fleetwood has finished in the top 10 at five of his last six events, missing the cut in the lone outlier.
- Collin Morikawa: Finished in a tie for 13th at St. Jude while carding a –10. Morikawa missed the cut at the British Open but finished in the top 30 at the other three majors.
- Tyrell Hatton: Carded a -4 last week to finish in a tie for 43rd place. Hatton has seven top 10 finishes for the season to date.
- Max Homa: Finished in a tie for sixth at St. Jude with a score of -11. Homa has a pair of victories this season, most recently at the Farmers Insurance Open.

This is the second round of the FedEx Cup playoffs. The first round took place at last week’s St. Jude Championship, which Lucas Glover won over Patrick Cantlay in a playoff. The top 50 golfers in the season-long points standings are set to tee off, with the purse size at $20 million.

2023 BMW Championship course and weather
Olympia Fields Country Club in Illinois is the host venue for the BMW Championship. Golfers will be competing on the north course, which is a par 70 that stretches 7,366 yards. This was also the site of the 2020 edition of the tournament, which Jon Rahm won with a -4, albeit on a different course.
The early weather forecast is calling for temps in the upper 70s to mid-80s on Thursday and Friday, with winds slated to be the strongest on opening day. The temperature is projected to rise over the weekend and perhaps hit the 90s on Sunday. Precipitation is not expected to be a factor over the four-day event.
