Best NCAA Final Four odds
Saturday, April 1
Florida Atlantic vs. San Diego State
- Spread: FL Atlantic (), San Diego State ()
- Moneyline: FL Atlantic (), San Diego State ()
- Total:
The No. 9 seed Florida Atlantic Owls knocked off Kansas State 79-76 in the Elite 8 on Saturday, and before that beat No. 4 Tennessee in the Sweet 16. Their appearance in the Final Four in the same year they got their first NCAA tournament win might seem like a surprise, but this team went 35-3 to win Conference USA and hasn’t lost a game since mid-February.
The 5-seeded San Diego State Aztecs are headed to their first Final Four after winning a 57-56 nailbiter over Creighton on Sunday. Lamont Butler scored 18, and the team that shocked top-seed Alabama in the Elite 8 squeaked by to end up one game away from the NCAA title game.
UConn vs. Miami
- Spread: UConn (), Miami ()
- Moneyline: UConn (), Miami ()
- Total:
The No. 4 seed UConn Huskies have trounced all their opponents in this year’s NCAA tournament so far. On Saturday they advanced out of the Elite 8 after beating Gonzaga by a nearly 30-point margin to move onto the Final Four in a game in which Jordan Hawkins scored 20 points. Their narrowest margin of victory so far in this tournament is 15 points against St. Mary’s in the second round.
No. 5 Miami battled back after trailing at halftime to beat no. 2 seed Texas 88-81. Jordan Miller scored 27, and the Hurricanes overcame a halftime deficit to knock off the Longhorns and advance to the Final Four. Miami lost in the Elite 8 last year, but this season knocked off top early favorite Houston in the Elite 8 round to advance.
