2023 NCAA March Madness Odds for Sweet 16

The matchups are set for the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, and sportsbooks have released odds on all the upcoming March Madness games. Below, you’ll find current odds on point spreads, moneylines and point totals from legal US sportsbooks.

The Sweet 16 round will begin on Thursday and extend into Friday. Games will take place in Las Vegas; New York; Kansas City, Missouri; and Louisville, Kentucky.

The Sweet 16 pairings are set and will take place across two days. The action begins Thursday with Florida Atlantic vs. Tennessee, followed by Michigan State vs. Kansas State. Later, it’s Gonzaga vs. UCLA and Arkansas vs. UConn. On Friday, games begin with Miami vs. Houston and San Diego State vs. Alabama, followed by Princeton vs. Creighton and Xavier vs. Texas.

Florida Atlantic won the Conference USA tournament and entered as a No. 9 seed, defeating Memphis and Farleigh Dickinson to make it to the Sweet 16. Its opponent, Tennessee, beat Louisiana-Lafayette and Duke to reach this round.

Michigan State defeated USC in the first round, then upset Marquette in the second round. The Spartans move on to play Kansas State, which beat Montana State and Kentucky.

Gonzaga entered as a No. 3 seed and beat Grand Canyon and TCU in the first two rounds. It’ll play Pac-12 regular season winner UCLA, which beat UNC-Asheville and Northwestern to advance.

No. 8 Arkansas defeated Illinois and upset No. 1 Kansas to advance to its game versus UConn. The Huskies, meanwhile, defeated Iona and Saint Mary’s to advance.

San Diego State entered as a No. 5 seed after winning the Mountain West tournament, then defeated Charleston and Furman. The Aztecs’ opponent, top-seeded Alabama, won the SEC and defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Maryland to get to the Sweet 16.

No. 5 Miami defeated Drake and Indiana to move on to play No. 1 Houston, which defeated Northern Kentucky and Auburn after opening as the favorite to win the tournament.

Princeton won the Ivy League tournament, then entered as a No. 15 seed and shocked No. 2 Arizona before defeating No. 7 Missouri. No. 6 Creighton, meanwhile, beat NC State before upsetting Baylor.

No. 3 Xavier defeated Kennesaw State and Pitt to move on to face No. 2 Texas, which won the Big 12 tournament and then beat Colgate and Penn State to advance.
