Odds to win 2023 SEC tournament

Alabama (): The Crimson Tide’s 16-2 record in the conference was good enough for the top seed and the regular season SEC title, despite a loss to Texas A&M to close out the regular season. Alabama plays Mississippi State early Friday afternoon.

Texas A&M (): The Aggies won eight of their final nine games, including their first against a top-two team in Alabama, and they enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed. They take on Arkansas, who’s coming off of an upset against Auburn in the second round.

Kentucky (): The Wildcats come into this tournament as the No. 3 seed, having won five of their last six regular season games. Their first game will be on Friday in the quarterfinals against Vanderbilt.

Missouri (): The Tigers won their last four regular season games and finished with an 11-7 record in the conference. They come in as the No. 4 seed and will play Tennessee in the quarterfinals on Friday.

Tennessee (): The fifth-seeded Volunteers have been great at home this season but have struggled elsewhere, losing their last five games on the road. They’ll match up against Missouri in the quarterfinals.

Vanderbilt (): The Commodores didn’t have much trouble moving past LSU in the second round. They’ll take on Kentucky next in the quarterfinals.

Mississippi State (): The Bulldogs finished with an 8-10 record in the conference, dropping their final regular season game on the road against Vanderbilt. They were able to take down Florida in the second round in overtime. Next is a matchup against top-seeded Alabama on Friday.

Arkansas (): The Razorbacks lost three straight against upper-echelon SEC teams to close out the regular season and are just 2-8 on the road this year. However, they were able to upset Auburn in the second round of the tournament. They’ll play 2-seed Texas A&M on Friday night.
