Disclaimer: Wynn Online Sportsbook has not yet gone live outside of Nevada. This review and bonus details for other states will be updated post launch.
Wynn is one of the most iconic brand names in casinos around the world. Wynn Las Vegas released one of the first sportsbooks in Nevada. Now, Wynn Sportsbook is expected to launch in Colorado and Indiana. Other states will likely follow.
Since the mobile and online betting site hasn’t been released yet, this review will cover the options the online sportsbook will likely include. We will update this page once the Wynn online sportsbook goes live.
Wynn Las Vegas’ retail sports betting locations are considered independent because its only sportsbooks are operated only on the same property. Wynn Las Vegas includes one at Wynn Casino, as well as Encore Resort. Wynn Sportsbook in Colorado will be affiliated with Full House Resorts.
The retail sportsbook inside of Wynn is one of the largest in Las Vegas. The Encore sportsbook at Wynn Las Vegas is modestly designed with smaller screens and less seating. The sportsbook at Wynn Casino remains the more popular of the two but the new. The smaller sportsbook option at Encore is a welcome option for guests staying and playing in that tower.
Being an independent sportsbook benefits bettors because the odds available on Wynn Sportsbook are strictly for these sportsbooks. Those using the Wynn sports betting app will be able to utilize the same wagering odds that aren’t available elsewhere.
Over the years, odds at Wynn Sportsbook have been considered among the most competitive in the industry. While the odds may be seen as sharp, the Wynn sportsbook app in Nevada is intended for recreational bettors. This makes the mobile wagering limits lower than other sports betting apps in Las Vegas.
Wynn Mobile Sportsbook Nevada
Wynn Resorts is one of the most popular luxury casino brands in the world with casinos in Las Vegas, Macau, and Boston. The brick and mortar casino may take large wagers over the counter in its Las Vegas sportsbooks. The app is intended for recreational gamblers and has much lower wagering limits than the retail sportsbooks.
The Wynn Sportsbook Nevada app uses a combination of Miomni software and Stadium Technology that many other Las Vegas sportsbook apps offer. Using similar front-end software means the Wynn Nevada sportsbook app looks similar to others.
The Wynn Sportsbook Nevada app skin has white text in a gray box on a black background. The text is easier to consume with the gray text boxes. Aside from the bold white all-caps text for menus, the app is easy to read.
Even though Wynn Sportsbook Nevada hasn’t been updated regularly, the software is easy to use and operates smoothly. This sports betting app works fine but doesn’t have the sleek look of other legal US sportsbook apps.
The backend software from Stadium Technology works similar to many Nevada sportsbooks. The main difference is the hold percentage Wynn Las Vegas sets the odds at. All mobile sportsbook apps that use this software set the amount to a different number so odds are unique.
This sports betting app is entirely unique but does offer one feature not found in all Las Vegas sports betting apps. The Wynn Sportsbook Nevada app is one of the few in the state that offers horse and dog wagering in addition to traditional sports wagering.
The sports wagering menu for Wynn Sportsbook Nevada is smaller and focuses on major sports around the globe. Unlike most other Las Vegas sports betting apps, Wynn Sportsbook does not offer live in-play wagering.
Opening and funding an account
Opening and funding an account at Wynn Sportsbook in Nevada
Getting started on Wynn’s sports betting app takes a few simple steps:
- You must be a Wynn Red Card players club member
- You must open your account in person at the Wynn Las Vegas Race & Sports Book.
- When opening your account, you are required to provide a valid government-issued photo ID and complete an IRS form W-9 if you’re a U.S. resident.
The initial deposit must be at least $100 deposit. You can use cash, chips, or cashier’s check to fund your account. You cannot fund your account via credit card. All future deposits must be made in increments of $50 at the Wynn Las Vegas Race & Sports Book.
There are no sign-up bonuses at this time. You can find the mobile sports wagering application here if you’d like to prepare in advance of a visit to Wynn Las Vegas.
Using Wynn Sportsbook in Nevada
Wynn Sports operates similarly to other Miomni apps as you have to turn off wifi on your phone before you can even open the app. This is a small inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless.
On the convenient side, you don’t need an account with Wynn Las Vegas to view the odds and point spreads as long as you’re in the state of Nevada. You can’t place wagers with Wynn Sports or any other sports betting app outside of Nevada. Wynn Sports can’t even be opened unless you’re in the state of Nevada.
Another convenient feature with Wynn Sports is that you can close the app and reopen where you left off. This makes researching games easier than some other sports wagering apps, since you can flip back and forth between looking at research, checking lines and placing a wager.
Wynn Sports offers the same point spreads and odds that you’ll find at the physical Wynn Las Vegas Race & Sports Book. Wagering on the Wynn Sports app is only available when the physical sportsbook is open inside the casino. Hours of operation can change at the discretion of Wynn Las Vegas.
One of the major benefits of sports wagering apps is their convenience. Wynn Sports comes in very handy if you’re staying at the Encore Tower at Wynn. The 3- to 4-minute walks back and forth to the Wynn Las Vegas Race & Sports Book can impede anyone’s desire to place multiple wagers per day.
Wynn Sports will specifically come in handy during the first weekend of March Madness if you’re watching the games at Encore Players Club. There are 16 games being played on each of the first two days, and walking back and forth will probably be a non-starter for most people looking to wager all day and night without missing any game action.
Placing wagers at Wynn Sportsbook
Minimum wagers on Wynn Sports are $5 and the maximum wager limit will be decided on by supervisors and may be a different amount for different customers. Additionally certain games may have different wager limits.
For example, “Key Games” might have a higher limit than other games. It seems as though limits will be lower on Wynn Sports than at the casino. If the maximum limit is a concern, you should ask a supervisor when setting up your account.
Withdrawals at Wynn in Nevada
All wagering account transactions must be conducted in person at the Wynn Las Vegas Race & Sports Book by the account holder. That includes:
- Account information changes
- Account closures
The remainder of this review applies to the coming Wynn online sportsbook in other states, not the existing Nevada app.
Wynn promo code and welcome offer in future states
The Wynn online sportsbook will likely feature some sort of promotional offer for new customers. Wynn Sportsbook is joining the legal market later than most, so it will need to attract new players with a generous welcome offer.

Wynn Sportsbook should offer new customers at least one of the following promotional offers.
A great way for an online sportsbook to acquire new business is with free credit. A lot of operators offer between $10-$20 in free credit for you to play with at the book. The best part about this bonus is that you usually earn the credit just by signing up.
That means you can use the sportsbook and free credit without committing any of your money. Once you’ve decided that you like the sportsbook, you can then deposit money.
One of the more popular ways that sportsbooks welcome new bettors is with a risk-free wager. After making your first deposit, the sportsbook will insure your first bet for, e.g., up to $500.
This form of bonus is excellent since you won’t lose any money on your initial wager. You’re also able to control how much protection you have with the bet. While the amount will vary, you know you have insurance for as much as the sportsbook is offering.
Another bonus offer at a lot of online sportsbooks is a deposit match bonus. Instead of insuring your first wager, the sportsbook will provide a 100% match of up to a certain amount of money on your initial deposit.
Although there are usually restrictions on how you can use the bonus money, this is a quality welcome promotion. However much you deposit, the sportsbook would match the same amount in bonuses. All sportsbooks vary, but this bonus can be as much as $1,000.
Sign up at Wynn Sportsbook
Creating an account at the Wynn online sportsbook should be a simple process. To get started, you’ll have to provide some basic personal information, including:
- Date of birth
- Phone number
- Social Security number
Once you’ve created a username and password for your account, you’re almost ready to start betting. Wynn Sportsbook will also have you submit a security question that will be tied to your credentials. The only other requirement is that you confirm you’re at least the minimum gambling age and you agree to the sportsbook’s terms and conditions.
Nevada players will have to open up their accounts in person at the land-based Wynn Casino. Here, they must show a government-issued photo ID and an IRS form W-9. They also may need to become a Wynn Red Card players’ club member.
Registration eligibility at Wynn Sportsbook
Wynn will feature the same requirements as every other online sportsbook in the US. To legally place wagers, you must be the minimum legal age to gamble and be physically located in the state of the betting site/app.
Gambling age requirements can vary across the country. Even though some states require you to be at least 18 years, the majority of the US requires you to be 21 years or older to place sports bets.
Location laws are the same for every state. When the Wynn Sportsbook releases in Nevada, you must be within the state borders at the time of using the app. It will use geolocation technology to determine exactly where you are. If Wynn ever expands outside of NV, then only people inside of that state will also have access to the sportsbook.
Regardless of where the sportsbook is, some individuals with jobs who could potentially change the outcome of a sporting event are not permitted to bet at Wynn. Players, coaches, trainers and officials are restricted from using betting sites. Others, like casino key employees, cannot use sportsbooks either.
Download the Wynn Sportsbook app
The Wynn Sportsbook app should be available for Apple and Android devices once it launches. Those with Apple devices can simply download the iOS app from the app store. Since Google Play won’t carry it, Android customers will have to download Wynn from a link on its website.
It won’t be a surprise if you’re able to use the online sportsbook through a web browser as well. A lot of mobile betting options allow you to do this on your desktop computer or mobile device.
Most online sportsbooks offer their customers various promotions throughout the year. These typically encourage and reward bettors for wagering on a certain sports or upcoming events.
While we don’t know what Wynn Sportsbook will roll out online, it will probably include some type of promotion. Even if the online sportsbook doesn’t initially come with promos in place, the options will likely expand over time.
A lot of books provide promotions for whatever sports are currently in season. The spring would usually include deals on the NBA and NHL playoffs, along with the start of the MLB season.
Outside of a welcome bonus, Wynn Sportsbook will plausibly showcase a few promos when it’s available. These may involve ways to earn free credit or insurance for specific parlays.
Wynn Sportsbook is likely to provide plenty of ways to move money to and from your account. You should be able to deposit with some of the following methods:
- Online banking transfer
- Credit Cards: Mastercard, Visa or American Express
- Prepaid card
- Land-based casino cage
Withdrawing funds will be just as easy. You’ll be eligible to receive your money back in several ways. Beyond getting paid electronically, a lot of sportsbooks can send funds via a check by mail, too. As a Wynn online sportsbook customer, you should expect to have most of these options.
Wynn sports bet options
Wynn Sportsbook should also include more than enough ways to place a sports bet. The online sportsbook should offer the following betting markets:
- Live in-game
- Point spreads
- Round robins
By providing so many types, bettors of all experiences can find a wager that’s their style.
Live in-game wagering
Wynn will have to offer live in-play betting. Live wagering is now one of the most popular ways to gamble through an online sportsbook. The emergence of mobile betting apps allows sportsbooks to create a variety of live betting markets. You’re able to bet on a game or a live prop within seconds of the odds being posted.
Live betting is a great tool because it allows you to have a lot of freedom. Instead of rushing to place a bet before the start of a game, you’re able to put one in whenever you want. A lot of bettors wait for games to start prior to committing to a specific wager. This way, if the team comes out flat, you can avoid betting altogether or receive enhanced odds based on the play on the field.
Sportsbooks usually feature live odds for nearly every sport available. These update almost instantly as games continue. Besides the conventional betting lines like moneylines, point spreads and totals, live options could include alternates for each as well as game and player props. Wynn Sportsbook will most likely launch its mobile app with a long list of live betting selections.
Wynn will also probably feature a sizable amount of betting markets. Its mobile betting site should provide the following sports:
- Aussie rules
Is Wynn Sportsbook legal?
Wynn Sportsbook operates legally in Nevada, and it should eventually be a legal operator in other states as well.
The sportsbook by Wynn will only operate where it is licensed to do so and authorized by regulatory bodies.
Growth of Wynn Sportsbook
The Wynn Las Vegas opened for business in 2005 and has come a long way since then. Now in 2020, it will join the new wave of online sports betting with the release of its mobile sportsbook beyond Nevada.
Even while joining the online market late, Wynn will likely become a major player.
Once it’s gotten its feet wet in the Nevada market, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Wynn Sportsbook pop up in other states. Online gambling laws are rapidly expanding in the US and Wynn could make a move into newer markets in the near future.
