Vegas Golden Knights at Dallas Stars

The Vegas Golden Knights have now lost two straight after jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the series. Jonathan Marchessault (odds to score a goal in Game 6: ) had two assists in Saturday’s loss, but the Knights let Dallas take over in third period with two unanswered goals that made the difference. Now the series goes back to Dallas, where Vegas is 1-1 so far.

The Dallas Stars seem to have regained their confidence with the win on Saturday to make it a 3-2 series. Jason Robertson (odds to score a goal in Game 6: ) remains hot for Dallas, scoring his third goal in two games. Jake Oettinger was also solid in net after some shaky performances earlier in the series, as he stopped 27 of 29 shots for a .931 save percentage.

Stanley Cup favorites

Sixteen of the NHL’s 32 teams make the Stanley Cup playoffs, but only one can take home the big prize. Here are two of the remaining favorites to lift the Holy Grail of the NHL: Lord Stanley’s Cup.

Eastern Conference

Florida Panthers : Despite finishing with just the eighth most points in the Eastern Conference during the regular season, Florida has had a Cinderella run in the playoffs. The Panthers have already knocked off the favored Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs and are up three games to zero against Carolina in the conference finals.

Western Conference

Vegas Golden Knights : The Knights have been one of the best teams in the West this season and are in position to make yet another run to the Stanley Cup finals. They eliminated another playoff favorite in the Edmonton Oilers in six games during the second round, and now face the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference finals.
