The Buffalo Bills’ 2023 season ended in disappointing fashion again. A team that has consistently had high Super Bowl odds and aspirations — and a roster seemingly talented enough to get there — for the last four seasons has nevertheless struggled and failed to get over the hump. The potential fallout of the Bills’ failure to do so has been a seeming disconnect between star receiver Stefon Diggs and the franchise.
That means Diggs could be on his way out in the offseason. The veteran has been one of the most productive receivers in the NFL over the last six seasons — four of those with the Bills — but if Diggs is unhappy and wants to be traded, the Bills may have no choice but to comply. Let’s take a look at who has the best odds to land Diggs.

Teams favored to trade for Stefon Diggs
Buffalo Bills (-250)
The Bills remain the favorites to keep Diggs. The team has remained steadfast in its ambitions, and Diggs remains an integral part of what’s worked for the Bills over the last four years. Since his arrival in 2020, Diggs has caught 445 passes for 5,372 yards and 37 touchdowns — cementing his place as one of the elite receivers in the NFL.
Despite his slow end to the 2023 season, Diggs still boasts chemistry with Josh Allen, and teams in their Super Bowl window tend not to ship off elite assets while they’re still contributing. When talking at the Pro Bowl Games, though, Diggs was noncommittal about his long-term future with the Bills.
Dallas Cowboys (+400)
The Cowboys have been linked with Diggs throughout the offseason thanks to the receiver’s brother, Trevon Diggs, who plays at cornerback for the Cowboys, as well as just the general gossip of Diggs being moved. And, not that it likely matters that much, but ESPN’s Mike Greenberg listed Diggs to the Cowboys as a move he would like to see.
The need for Diggs might not be as pressing here as it is for others on the list. The Cowboys received an All-Pro season from CeeDee Lamb in 2023, and Brandin Cooks is still an excellent No. 2 option.
Houston Texans (+1000)
The Texans’ season defied expectations in 2023, as the team finished with a 10-7 regular season record and went on to beat the Cleveland Browns in the wild card round of the playoffs before falling to the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round. The offense exploded onto the scene with rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud under center, as well as a healthy amount of receiving weapons, but a veteran receiver like Diggs could still help elevate the team.
Nico Collins and Tank Dell both had impressive seasons, with Collins showing up as a major player in the postseason, but this Texans roster is still young and it would make sense why Houston would be after a player like Diggs.
Kansas City Chiefs (+1800)
When a receiver is on the market or reportedly seeking a trade, the Kansas City Chiefs will often be one of the betting favorites to land that player. The Chiefs have proven for the last two years that they don’t need an elite wide receiver to be successful — and it’s hard to argue with a team that has just won back-to-back Super Bowls. However, with Travis Kelce heading toward his age-35 season, the Chiefs are limited with their pass-catching options.
There hasn’t been too much linking Diggs to the Chiefs. It’s hard to see the Bills wanting to part ways with Diggs initially, and it seems even more unlikely that they would want to trade him to another contender in the AFC — especially when that contender is the team that’s knocked them out of the postseason in three of the last four years.
