Eagles Vs. Buccaneers Wild Card Props: Top Props For Mike Evans, Godwin, Hurts & More

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won a third straight NFC South title during the regular season and will host the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles in a wild card matchup this Monday night at Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN. The Eagles are on the spread, and the game has an over/under line of points.

Wild card round player props: Eagles vs. Bucs

The Eagles struggled during a tough stretch in their schedule and have yet to regain their stride, losing five of their final six regular season games. They’re dealing with key injuries on both sides of the ball, led by Jalen Hurts (knee) and A.J. Brown (knee), arguably their two most important players. The Eagles suffered a 31-15 loss at Tampa Bay to Tom Brady and the Bucs in the wild card round in 2022, when Hurts passed for 258 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions.

The Bucs are back in the playoffs, with Baker Mayfield stepping up after Brady’s retirement. Mayfield’s top target has been Mike Evans, with Chris Godwin becoming a much bigger factor over the final few weeks of the season. Mayfield appeared to hurt his ankle during a 9-0 win last week that clinched the division.

Below, we’ll take a look at some player props for this matchup. If you are located in a state where pick’em contests are legal, feel free to check out our PrizePicks and Betr Picks reviews.

Anytime TD scorer props for Eagles vs. Bucs

Monday’s game has a total line of points, with some rain in the forecast in parts of Florida. The Bucs played lower-scoring games at home this season, where they averaged 17.6 points per game and held opponents to 17.1 points per game.

Jalen Hurts set a record with 13 rushing touchdowns as a quarterback last season and broke that mark with 15 this year. The Eagles added multiple backs this offseason and have featured D’Andre Swift as their lead ball carrier.

Quarterback passing props for Eagles vs. Bucs

Jalen Hurts only averaged 193 passing yards per game in three playoff appearances last season as the Eagles cruised to the Super Bowl. He passed for 304 yards and a touchdown in a 38-35 loss to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

Baker Mayfield averaged 277.5 passing yards per game over his final four regular season appearances, with a 70.3% completion rate and eight touchdowns in that span. He averaged 233.5 passing yards with four touchdowns and one interception in two postseason starts with the Browns.

In a contract year, Mike Evans led the Bucs with 79 receptions for 1,255 yards and 13 touchdowns. He averaged 18.7 yards per catch and 102.9 receiving yards per game at home. The Eagles have a talented duo of cornerbacks in James Bradberry and Darius Slay, but those veterans have struggled this year.

The Eagles are listing both A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith as day-to-day leading up to this matchup. They got tight end Dallas Goedert back from a multi-week absence in Week 14. Tampa’s defense is allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game (248.9) this season.

Rushing yard props for Eagles vs. Bucs

Rachaad White has one of the most consistent roles of any featured back in the NFL, but the Bucs have been inefficient running the ball, averaging a league-low 3.4 yards per carry. White, however, has averaged 75.9 rushing yards per game and 27.9 receiving yards per game with four touchdowns over his last seven outings.
