Division-leading Ravens look to continue winning against resilient Browns
Heading into Week 10 of the NFL season, we have an AFC North showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns. The Ravens are 7-2, good for first in the division and ahead of the 5-3 Browns. In Week 9, Baltimore beat the Seattle Seahawks at home, 37-3, and the Browns also won at home, 27-0, against the Clayton Tune-led Arizona Cardinals.
The Ravens’ rushing attack accounted for three touchdowns versus Seattle. In his return from injury, Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson threw for two touchdowns.
Browns will face a stout Baltimore ground game
The Ravens rank first in the league in rushing yards at slightly over 160 per game. However, they rank just 20th in passing yards per game. The Browns’ defense, meanwhile, has allowed less than 100 rushing yards per game, but that average has ballooned to 130 over the past three games.
Ravens looking to keep the rushing attack going
As mentioned, Baltimore had three rushing TDs in Week 9, and the Ravens rank first overall in rushing yards so far this season. On 300 carries this year, they have 1,443 yards and 17 touchdowns. They average 4.8 yards per carry. Quarterback Lamar Jackson has 440 rushing yards and five touchdowns. The leading rusher is Gus Edwards, with 478 yards. Rookie Keaton Mitchell broke out in Week 9 with 138 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
