The defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs sputtered down the stretch during the regular season but seemed to find their postseason form in a 26-7 win over the Dolphins in the Wild Card round.

The Bills dispatched the Steelers, 31-17, on Monday after the game was postponed from Sunday due to blizzard conditions. The Bills won their final five regular season games to make the playoffs and top the Dolphins for the AFC East crown, earning home-field advantage in this matchup.

Chiefs vs. Bills Divisional Round Betting Preview

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills

In the 2022 postseason, the Chiefs hosted the Bills in the Divisional Round and provided a thrilling overtime finish with five scores in the fourth quarter before Mahomes hit Travis Kelce for an 8-yard touchdown on the first possession of the extra period. The following offseason, the NFL changed overtime rules to allow each team to have at least one possession.

The previous year, the Chiefs eliminated the Bills, 38-24, in the AFC Championship. Mahomes is 12-3 in his postseason career and has never started a game on the road, only at neutral sites in his three Super Bowl appearances.

Last season the Bills fell at home, 27-10, to the Bengals in the Divisional Round. Josh Allen is 5-4 in his postseason career with 20 touchdowns and four interceptions. He’s 5-1 in home playoff games and went 7-1 at home this season.

In regular season meetings between these teams, the Bills have won three straight games at Kansas City. The Chiefs beat the Bills in a largely empty stadium in October of 2020, but had not won in Buffalo previously since 2014.
