Rams Wild Card Injury Report - Several Players Will Be Game-time Decisions

The Los Angeles Rams are on the road against the Detroit Lions for the wild card round of the NFL playoffs. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Sunday at Ford Field, with NBC on the broadcast. The Lions are at on the point spread, and the game has an over/under line of points.

The Rams played a tough schedule during the first half of the season and came on strong during the second half when Kyren Williams (ankle) returned from a four-game absence. Williams led a rejuvenated rushing attack, and Matthew Stafford averaged 284.2 passing yards per game over his last six starts. Stafford was traded for Jared Goff and several draft picks before helping lead the Rams to the Super Bowl two seasons ago.

The Lions also have a potent rushing attack and one of the better rush defenses in the NFL. Their secondary has struggled, but they got former Rams defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson back in their lineup in Week 18. The Lions will also hope to have rookie tight end Sam LaPorta (knee) in this postseason matchup.

Potential key missing players

Jordan Fuller (ankle)

Rams coach Sean McVay said the team will use all the time available this week to determine the status of a few defensive starters, including safety Jordan Fuller, who started 17 games this season and hurt his ankle during a 21-20 win over the 49ers in Week 18. Linebacker Troy Reeder also suffered an ankle injury in the win. He was seeing more playing time with Ernest Jones IV among the players the Rams decided to rest in Week 18.

Joe Noteboom (shoulder)

The Rams left tackle dealt with a groin injury earlier this season and sat out Week 18 with a shoulder injury. Noteboom and several other veterans appear likely to be back in the lineup after missing the regular season finale.
