Best Florida online casinos & FL sweepstakes casinos
LegalSportsReport has conducted thorough reviews of all the leading social and sweepstakes casinos that accept players in Florida. These are the top six:
1. McLuck Casino
McLuck has emerged as one of the top online casino options in Florida since launching in 2023. This Irish luck-themed casino hosts a vast range of slots from around 20 leading providers, including Novomatic and NetEnt, plus live dealer games.
Floridians can play via the app or website, which are both well-designed. We were impressed by the quality of the user interface at McLuck, which makes it easy to find games in the large portfolio.

2. WOW Vegas
Floridians can play more than 1,200 online slots at WOW Vegas. The site hosts games from providers like Pragmatic Play and BGaming, along with several high-quality exclusives.
The site is modern, stylish, and easy to navigate, with sections for classic slots, Megaways slots, bonus buy slots, and various other categories. WOW Vegas also offers a strong no-purchase welcome bonus and a variety of recurring promos for players in Florida.

3. LoneStar Casino
LoneStar Casino, launched in early 2025 by RealPlay Tech Inc., offers a sweepstakes-style experience with 400–500+ games, predominantly slots, from top providers like Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Swintt, Relax Gaming, and Kalamba.
While live dealer offerings are limited, the platform features a sleek, mobile-optimized web interface—no dedicated apps—with quick load times, robust provider filters, SSL encryption, and geofencing for security casinos.org. Players can enjoy frequent bonuses and promotions—including daily login rewards, VIP perks, and social media giveaways—all within a legal sweepstakes model. Banking options span credit cards, digital wallets like Apple Pay/Google Pay, Skrill, and bank transfers for Sweeps Coin redemptions.

4. Pulsz Casino
Pulsz offers a superior selection of games compared to most rival online casinos in Florida. It has more than 800 slots, sourced from reputable providers such as NetEnt and Pragmatic Play, plus exclusive scratchers, arcade-style games, and virtual table games.
The site and the app are both clean, elegant, and easy to use. The welcome bonus is smaller than some other sites, but Pulsz offers a few attractive bonuses for existing customers on an ongoing basis.

5. Casino.Click
Launched in late 2024, Casino.Click is a sweepstakes-based gaming site tailored for players in the United States. It hosts an impressive lineup of over 500 titles, with a strong focus on slots and instant-win games from well-known developers like Hacksaw Gaming and Relax Gaming. The platform complies with sweepstakes regulations, offering an alternative to traditional online casinos with the opportunity to win real prizes. Though it doesn’t have a standalone app, Casino.Click delivers a smooth mobile experience through any browser and can be added to a home screen as a Progressive Web App (PWA). It’s available in most U.S. states.

6. MegaBonanza
MegaBonanza is a sister site to McLuck. It has a similar user experience, and MegaBonanza also offers a similar library of games. It stands out with its online slot tournaments. You simply need to play qualifying games, and you’ll win prizes if you finish on the final leaderboard.
These tournaments are available on a daily basis, and they’re popular with prolific players. However, MegaBonanza also has aspects geared toward casual players. It offers a large selection of slots and live dealer games, and the cowboy-themed user interface is well-designed.

How we rank Florida online casinos
We focus on several important factors when reviewing Florida online casinos. The best sites and apps excel in the following areas:
- Game selection: Our reviewers examine the range of games at each Florida online casino. We are looking for sites that host hundreds of high-quality slots from multiple reputable providers. They should also offer additional options, such as table games and a variety of games.
- User interface: The best social casinos offer a similar user experience to real money online casinos. They are stylish and easy to navigate, with sections and filters to help you find your favorite games. We also test the speed, reliability, and accessibility of each site or app.
- Bonuses: We break down the bonuses at each online casino in Florida. This includes the no-purchase welcome bonus, any purchase offers, the daily login bonus, social media competitions, tournaments, challenges, and any other promos. We look for sites that offer a variety of ways for new and existing customers to unlock free coins.
- Prize redemptions: Our reviewers redeem prizes at each site. We test the speed of the prize redemptions, ease of the process, limits, and the range of methods available.
- Trust and security: We only highlight trusted sites that comply with Florida’s sweepstakes regulations and federal laws. They must host slots from reputable providers, whose games are independently verified for fairness and accuracy. We also assess the security and data protection measures available at each site.
Real money vs. social casinos in Florida
The best social casinos in Florida offer a similar experience to real money online casinos, but there are some key differences. Here are the main details about Florida social casinos to know:
| Real Money Online Casinos | Social Casinos |
|---|---|
| Only legal in seven states and prohibited in Florida. | Accept players in most states, including Florida |
| Players must be at least 21. | Players must be 18 or older. |
| Regulated by gaming commissions or gaming control boards in each state in which they operate. | Comply with local sweepstakes regulations, such as section 849.094 of the 2023 Florida Statutes, plus federal laws like the Fair Credit Billing Act. |
| Accept deposits via a variety of online payment methods. | You cannot make deposits, but you can purchase Gold Coins. |
| You can play slots and table games for real money, so your balance will be in US dollars and will go up or down after each spin or hand you play. | You can play with two currencies: standard Gold Coins, which have no monetary value, and premium Sweeps Coins, which you can redeem for cash prizes or gift cards if you win. |
| Players can withdraw their funds at any time, and payouts often take less than 24 hours via certain methods. | Players can redeem Sweeps Coins for cash prizes after completing a playthrough requirement. The funds will be transferred to you via online banking or Skrill, which can take several days. |
You cannot buy Sweeps Coins. You can only accrue them for free via bonuses, by writing to the company and requesting them, or as a gift when you buy Gold Coins.
In Florida, you cannot win a prize worth more than $5,000 from a single spin or hand when playing at a social casino. For example, if you win 5,200 Sweeps Coins, you will only receive 5,000 Sweeps Coins. This rule only applies to Florida and New York.
Florida online casinos to avoid
We strongly recommend avoiding unregulated online casinos. These sites are based overseas in countries like Curaçao and Costa Rica. They have no legal permission to operate in the United States, but many of them still try to entice Floridians.
However, you cannot trust unregulated, offshore casinos to offer a fair and secure online gaming experience. Many American players have been scammed at these sites, falling victim to bait-and-switch bonus scams and other nefarious practices. Others have had their data leaked as a result of slipshod security measures. Withdrawing winnings can be more more difficult than depositing money to play with.
Essentially, you cannot rely on these sites to host fair, accurate games, keep your data safe, or pay out when you win. You also have no legal recourse if you are scammed, as they are unregulated sites. Avoid those sites and stick to regulated options like WOW Vegas, High 5 Casino, and Pulsz instead.
History of online gambling in Florida
Florida authorized pari-mutuel wagering on horse racing, greyhound racing, and jai alai back in 1931. Online racebooks like TwinSpires and TVG have accepted players in Florida for many years.
Daily fantasy sports apps like FanDuel and DraftKings started welcoming Floridians more than a decade ago. Fantasy sports contests have never been legalized in the Sunshine State, but they are not prohibited, either, so they operate in a legal gray area.
In 2021, the Seminole Tribe launched Florida’s first online sportsbook after signing an updated gaming compact with the state. The tribe was permitted to offer online sports wagering statewide under its Hard Rock brand, provided the servers were located on tribal lands.
West Flagler Associates, which owns Casino Miami and Bonita Springs Poker Room, mounted a legal challenge. US District Judge Dabney Friedrich upheld the appeal, ruling that the compact violated the Florida constitution and the federal Indian Gaming Regulatory Act. The tribe was forced to take the sportsbook offline after just 34 days.
A two-year legal battle ensued. In June 2023, the US Circuit Court of Appeals reversed Judge Friedrich’s 2021 decision. WFA appealed again, but the Florida Supreme Court rejected its request. That paved the way for the Seminole Tribe to relaunch Hard Rock Bet in November 2023. The US Supreme Court has also declined to take up an appeal from WFA, cementing the Seminole Tribe’s right to offer online sports betting in Florida.
The next step would be to launch a real money online casino, which would be regulated by the Florida Gaming Control Commission. The Seminole Tribe offers online casino gaming in New Jersey under the Hard Rock brand, so it has the software in place. An updated tribal-state gaming compact would be necessary before the Seminoles could launch a casino app, but that is a distinct possibility.
Seminole Gaming CEO Jim Allen has even suggested that the tribe may be prepared to give up its exclusive rights to run online Florida sports betting if it received permission to launch a casino app.
Types of online casino games available in Florida
Sites like High 5 Casino, Pulsz, and McLuck offer games similar to those available at Florida’s land-based casinos. In fact, sweeps casinos in Florida often offer an even bigger variety of games than land-based casinos.
Some online casinos in Florida have over 1,000 themed slots, along with blackjack, roulette, live dealer games and video poker.
These are the main categories that you can play at Florida online casino options:
Slots
Floridians can browse hundreds of online slots at popular sites like WOW Vegas, High 5 Casino, and McLuck. They often source their slots from the same companies that supply real money online casinos in states like New Jersey and Pennsylvania, so players will receive an authentic experience.
You can play classic three-reel and five-reel slots, bonus buy slots, progressive jackpot slots, hold-and-win slots, Megaways slots, and much more. The leading suppliers include NetEnt, Novomatic, Pragmatic Play, Betsoft, Relax Gaming, and 3 Oaks Gaming.
Virtual table games
Many sites allow you to play online table games in Florida. For example, you can play multi-hand blackjack and Casino Hold’em at Pulsz. Other options include classic blackjack, roulette, and baccarat. Some sites offer video poker games such as Jacks or Better, too.
Live dealer games
These games allow you to connect with a live dealer via a video stream. The dealer is typically based in a professional studio or a land-based casino.
Available options often include blackjack, European roulette, American roulette, French roulette, baccarat, Sic Bo, and Teen Patti. Players can watch the action in real time, and a chat feature allows interaction with both the dealer and other participants at the table.
Variety games
Variety games include keno, bingo, crash games, and online scratchers. You will sometimes find arcade-style games such as Mines and Plinko available, too.

Types of online casino bonuses available in Florida
Social casinos in Florida allow users to play casino games using Gold Coins, which do not have any monetary value. However, you can also procure Sweeps Coins as a bonus when purchasing Gold Coins, allowing you to play games that offer rewards like cash prizes. Whether you decide to play using Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins, here are the types of online casino bonuses available in Florida:
- No-deposit bonus: Generally earned just by signing up for a new social casino account.
- Deposit-match bonus: Funds that match a player’s deposit, usually up to a certain amount.
- Free spins: Users can spin reels for free without risking their own money.
- Welcome bonus: Additional bonus funds for new players who sign up at an online casino.
- Cashback bonus: A percentage of a player’s losses paid back over a certain period.
- Ongoing promotions: Bonuses, free spins and special offers for existing players
- Loyalty programs: Rewards for players based on their activity that can be redeemed for prizes and bonuses.
- Referral bonus: Extra rewards for inviting friends to join a social casino.
Payment methods at Florida online casinos
You can choose from several payment methods if you decide to purchase coins at social online casinos in Florida. These are the most common options:
- Credit card: The leading Florida online casino options support Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover payments. Just select the package you would like to purchase, enter your details, confirm the payment, and the coins will be credited to your account immediately.
- Debit card: You can alternatively use a debit card to buy coins. Some credit card providers treat casino payments as cash advances, which can incur fees, so you may find that debit card payments are the most cost-effective.
- Online banking: Most social casinos allow you to purchase coins via an online bank transfer. This is the most widely available payment method if you redeem Sweeps Coins for cash prizes, too.
- Skrill: If you would prefer to use a digital wallet, Skrill is normally your only option, as social casinos rarely support PayPal or Venmo. You can also receive the funds via Skrill if you redeem your premium coins for a cash prize.
Land-based Florida casinos
There are eight tribal casinos in Florida. They operate under tribal-state gaming compacts authorized by the federal Indian Gaming Regulatory Act. These tribal casinos support more than 50,000 jobs and have an annual economic impact of more than $8 billion, according to the American Gaming Association.
The Seminole Tribe operates six casinos in Florida. The Miccosukee Tribe runs a casino in Miami, plus a small travel center casino named Little Trail Casino in Ochopee. These are the largest tribal casinos to visit:

Florida’s horse racing tracks and greyhound tracks can also legally offer certain casino games. Some of these tracks have turned into racinos, which offer hundreds of video gaming machines. However, they do not offer table games, poker rooms, or sportsbooks. Here are some prominent examples:
- Calder Casino in Miami
- Casino Miami
- Creek Entertainment Gretna
- Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino
- Harrah’s Pompano Beach
- Hialeah Park Casino
- Magic City Casino in Miami
- The Big Easy Casino in Hallandale Beach
- The Casino at Dania Beach
Other racetracks and casinos offer poker rooms, but they do not have any slot machines or table games. That leaves Floridians with lots of land-based gambling options.
