When DraftKings announced a huge deal with Madison Square Garden to open a branded “fantasy sports lounge,” it was clear this would become a major point of emphasis for daily fantasy sports sites.
The idea of “fantasy lounges” wasn’t necessarily new, but it started taking off in the middle of 2015. There are now more than a dozen lounges branded by major DFS operators, with many more likely on the way.
