Taylor Osieczanek is a Content Editor at LegalSportsReport, where he covers sweepstakes casinos, social casinos, online casinos, sports betting, and the fast-growing prediction markets space. His day-to-day work ranges from state-by-state legal guides, like LSR’s Nevada online casino guide and Missouri online casino guide, to sweepstakes casino reviews like LSR’s Funrize review, to sports betting coverage like LSR’s Heisman Trophy odds tracker.
Taylor joined Catena Media as a freelance writer in February 2020, moved into a full-time editorial role as Reviews Assistant in September 2021, and has served as Reviews Editor since September 2022. His byline also appears on GamingToday, where he covers many of the same verticals for a national audience.
A Colorado native and graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver, Taylor’s path into gambling journalism ran through traditional newsrooms first. He spent nearly a decade as a sports copy editor, designer, and web producer at The Rocky Mountain News (2000-2009), then worked as a presentation desk editor and designer for Prairie Mountain Publishing, including The Boulder Daily Camera (2010-2012), before transitioning to digital gambling content full-time. That newsroom background, built on deadline accuracy and clean, reader-first writing, still shapes how he approaches every review, guide, and odds update he publishes today.
Away from the keyboard, Taylor is usually playing pickleball, riding his Peloton, catching the latest Marvel movie, or spending time with his wife of more than 20 years, Jennifer.
